This apartment, a lovely spacious studio, is located just down the block from the Canal St. Martin in Paris. It is close to the metro lines 2 at Colonel Fabien and 7 at Louis Blanc. The owner is a jazz musician who lives mostly in New York; he has left an excellent piano keyboard so that he can practice when he stays in Paris, you can feel free to use it too.
The apartment is 35m², on the fourth floor of a modern elevator building. The apartment is fully furnished; there is a bed for two in the main space. There is a full kitchen with a stove top, a combined microwave and oven, small refrigerator, sink, all of the small appliances, utensils, dishes, glasses and flatware. The bathroom has a full tub with shower. There is high-speed internet access and WIFI, TV, radio and telephone. We supply all of the towels and sheets. There is a thorough cleaning before you arrive and upon your departure.

Our host was very kind and accommodating, the location was close to a Metro stop, and the price was right. The only downside was a bathroom that had peeling paint and wasn't as clean as I hoped.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing.

About the owner: Frankly, I never thought I'd end up living in Paris but - you see, I met a man. On a ski trip - Alps - chalet - fireplace - well, it's been ten years. I can't give you the complete insider's guide to Paris yet, (I believe that takes three generations) but I can give you an ex-New Yorker's guide to this fabulous City of Lights. Our first studio was my husbands - that's where we lived once we decided to share a continent. We were there until our son was about negative-one-month old, and we didn't want to have to convert the bidet into a bassinet. Once we moved, I started renting out that apartment and everything fell into place. As an architect, I love fixing up the apartments, and as an ex-pat, I love meeting the people who come to enjoy their vacations in Paris.
