Located in Rayburn Country and along the banks of Sam Rayburn Reservoir, Lakeside Treehouse offers travelers a TRUE Sandy Beach lakeside location. Sam Rayburn Reservoir is the largest lake wholly in Texas and offers a great southern recreational and boating end along with some of the best fishing in the nation. Sam Rayburn Lake is 79 miles long and has 600 miles of shoreline. Our beach is a beautiful sloped entrance to the lake, perfect for swimming, skiing, or just wading in and out playing in the sand. It is an ideal location to tie up the boat or ski onto shore. The property offers awesome sunsets to enjoy from the shore or deck and capture photos as a reminder of a great family vacation. The two level decks offers opportunities for early morning coffee, outdoor grilling, fire pit evenings and a peaceful beginning and end to the day. Our neighborhood is a mix of full time residences and vacation homes, is fun filled, golf cart and child friendly and promises to leave you wanting to come back to Big Sam.
The house is perfect for lake living, great lake view from the living room, eating and kitchen areas, master bedroom and decks. A convenient kitchen with new stainless fridge and eating bar is stocked with basic needs. Layout includes a private master bedroom and bath with a queen bed and tub/shower combination, second bedroom with queen bed and futon and hall bath. Washer and dryer are handy in a hall location. The yard is spacious and gentle sloped for young and old alike with an open view down to the lake area. Lighting near the lake for those early mornings and charging boat batteries. Parking is available for approximately 4 vehicles, with little off street parking.
The home is located in beautiful Rayburn Country Resort. You'll enjoy a 27 hole golf course along with basketball and tennis court. You will find 3 launches within 10 minutes of the house, 2 marinas, Umphrey Pavilion, the new Texas State Fish Hatchery, and Sam Rayburn Dam. Local shopping includes several convenience stores, meat market, liquor store; several tackle and bait stores, For dining, the Stump Restaurant and Rayburn Country Club are favorites with the locals, as well as a Pizza/Sandwich and Burger/BBQ spot. Within a 15 minutes drive, Jasper with its Brookshire Brothers, Super Wal-Mart, Catfish Cabin, and Cedar Tree should finish off any forgotten items or meals.

My family and I rented this house for the weekend during a fishing tournament. Everything was better than we could have hoped for. We can't wait to visit again!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We had a really great time here. It's very conveniently located for lake access. Perfect size for my parents and me and my two kids. The kids loved playing on the sandy beach and it's very close. Very much recommended!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

One of the best setups,with an amazing view of the water. The layout of the Treehouse is awesome and very clean. The Jobs were super nice people and were amazing to work with. We will have a home away from home as long as this place is available!!! Thank You!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.
