We just returned from a weekend at Full Circle and I've got to say that it was just amazing! I first peeked in the window of the house over 5 years ago on another trip to Dillon and knew that someday I'd stay at this special house. Everything about the house from it's unique and beautiful architecture, art, furnishings, view, kitchen, deck and hot tub we're just perfect! It was truely a fantastic and special visit; my hope is to return someday soon and to stay longer next time!

Luxury at Dillon Beach

My husband and I just wrapped up a 12-day stay in this lovely cottage and we didn't want to leave. We felt so at home----and terrifically pampered. Beautifully restored, the cottage features lots of custom-designed windows with breathtaking views, stained glass in strategic areas, original art and gorgeous Tiffany-style lamps throughout. The kitchen will knock your socks off with the professional six-burner Heartland range and great selection of cookware to prepare gourmet dinners that you'll enjoy while watching the sunset over the ocean. One of my daily routines was to walk the beach, followed by a soak in the hot tub and then a nap in the hammock as I was lulled by the sound of the ocean waves. Life doesn't get better than this. I now understand why this cottage has been named "Full Circle" as we're already planning our next trip back.

The Perfect Relaxation Spot

We recently spent a weekend at the cottage and had a wonderful weekend. The property is situated above Dillon Beach and the views are simply breathtaking. The interior could not be more inviting or better appointed. We enjoyed reading while sitting in the comfortable chairs overlooking the back patio. By cracking the back windows you can hear the surf pounding on the beach below. The cabin is fully outfitted with a chef's kitchen which we took full advantage of. You will have access to TV and internet if you require it but believe me you won't even want to turn them on unless you are using the iPad docking station to play soothing music over the surround sound system. The beach below was a great place to go for a run and we rented kayaks near by to explore Tomales Bay. We loved our weekend stay and will return many times over the years to come!

What a lovely, lovely cabin! Decorated with impeccable taste, it's exceptionally warm & cozy. Elegant with an earthy tone. Top - notch appliances & amenities. You feel nurtured & cared for as soon as you walk through the front gate. The location of Dillon Beach itself is paradoxical: both out in the middle of nowhere, yet relatively close to everything at the same time: to the south is lovely Point Reyes Station and the Point Reyes wilderness; to the north is Bodega Bay, the Armstrong Redwoods, the Bohemian Highway, etc.; to the east is Sebastopol, Sonoma & the wine country; and of course, to the west is the majestic Pacific ocean. All the while you'll be bathed with the scent of luscious California Bay leaves and the cool sea air. A very nice destination either to relax and retreat from your mundane world, or to venture out to some of the best hiking, biking & beach combing there is. BEAUTIFUL! AWESOME! ROMANTIC! PERFECT! The manager/owners were nice & helpful. They gave ideas of things to do & places to see. The house was very clean. Lovely complementary wine and soap. Laundry detergent supplied. If you plan on cooking, it's worth it to check out the cupboards first to see what is already stocked. The hot tub is pure heaven after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. The night sky is great for stargazing (nice & clear). The ocean view is amazing. Although in early June, it was a bit chilly on the beach but ok if you wear a light jacket. There's a general store where you can get a keepsake (t-shirts, knick-knacks, etc.) and a diner that serves pretty decent food just a short walk away.The old beach town atmosphere is laid back, peaceful, and quiet. It's a very scenic drive to wherever you go from the cottage. Northern CA rolling hills, farm land w/cows and sheep and horses. And you can almost always see the ocean or the bay in the distance.There can be fog in the mornings but it typically dissipates by 11 am or 12 pm.

My husband and I just returned from an incredible stay at Full Circle. It was almost impossible to leave! The house is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean and has been painstakingly restored. The attention to detail is evident throughout the house from craftsman level construction to the ultimate in living convenience. The comfort of the bed, the linens and the pillows made it difficult to get up in the morning...but one look at the view and the thought of jumping into the sparkling clean hot tub overlooking the bay changed our minds. The kitchen is a chef's dream. The stove is fabulous and all the appliances worked perfectly. The choice of glassware, silverware and plates again reflects the owner's critical design eye: elegant as well as functional. It was so easy to set a beautiful table with the lovely placemats, cloth napkins and napkin rings. Cookware was of the highest quality and there was a nice supply of spices and condiments available. One of my favorite aspects was the beautiful walk- in closet with abundant shelving (plus washer and dryer) just off the bathroom that allowed us to keep all clothing neat and away so that we could enjoy the aesthetics that the house had to offer. There was a choice of wonderful spa robes which we used continually. Though it was a little too windy to use during our stay, there was an awesome grill on the deck right outside the kitchen door. Linda had beautiful flowers and a bottle of wine waiting for us. If you appreciate impecable restoration and the utmost in comfortable living this house will provide you with an unforgettable vacation. I can tell you that three days is certainly not enough. We will return over and over again to enjoy the warmth and renewing energy the house offers and for the breathtaking views from every meticulously crafted window. It really just doesn't get any better than this!!

A relaxing week in Dillon Beach

I have rented several beach houses in the North Bay over the years. What distinguishes Tom's Beach Cottage is the attention to detail in its construction and decor, as well as Tom's accommodating and service oriented style. The house itself is inviting, comfortable and well appointed. The smell and feel of the craftsman style wood work which covers nearly every surface is comforting and appealing. It makes for a beautiful feeling of rustic-lux. If you like to cook, bring groceries! The kitchen has everything you will need to make a gourmet feast of practically any size. We enjoyed local oysters from Drake's BBQ'd on the large gas grill on the patio. We will be back for sure!

Romantic charming cottage

For our 20th wedding anniversary we couldn't have picked a more romantic, lovingly appointed getaway than the circle cottage. With not much to actually do in Dillon Beach, we were able to focus on each other in a way we'd forgotten to include in our daily lives. My wife and I just spent a week here at this amazing property. We did not want to leave. If you're a cook, you will feel right at home in the well appointed kitchen. The beds are incredibly comfortable and clean. There are many places to lounge with a good book and/or nap. Take in the incredible ocean and beach views from the back deck. If you want a closer look, you're a few steps away. The property is simply perfect.

We just wanted to take the time to say that both Jerry and I truly enjoyed our stay at your beach house! Several months ago we ran into you when you and your wife were getting ready for your monthly stay... We were walking and caught you in the front of your beach house and asked you both if you had stayed in it before... and at the same time we explained that we have been coming over to Dillon Beach every February for the past 16 years... renting the same place for all these years. (My husband proposed along the cost 16 years ago and we have been coming back ever since). The place we always rented sold and is no longer a rental. When we met you two we had tried a place that didn't measure up and wasn't a keeper! You expressed that you were the owners and let us come in to take a peak! When we were over at the coast for lunch one weekend at Nick's Cove we happen to drive by to see your spot and get the rental information and had noticed that it was for sale. When we came in February, Linda explained that you were closing the sale on your Sonoma home and weren't going to sell the beach house! I/we must say that we had a fabulous stay and were very happy to hear that you will not be selling the beach house! We both love to cook and have a home stocked very similar (including a six burner Viking Stove)... Very special, first class... we'll be definitely be back again and plan to come over more often than once a year! Thank you for sharing your treasure... I wanted to let you know how very much I enjoyed your beach house at Dillon Beach. The restoration/renovation was extraordinarily beautiful. I particularly loved the dining table and chairs and the kitchen sink, but everywhere I looked there was loveliness. It was indeed beyond the retreat I had hoped for. My husband and I recently stayed at Full circle for two weeks. The cottage and setting are even better than the pictures show it to be. Tom thought of everything to make our stay more comfortable including private label wine and soap, fresh flowers, quality bedding, up-to-date electronics (includiing WiFi and Ipod speakers) and high-end furniture and fixtures. We spent our time hiking in nearby Fort Reyes or walking the beaches and neighborhoods of Dillon Beach and then eased our aching muscles at night in the hot tub. Tom makes everything easy and has competent people making sure that everything is well taken care of. We have stayed in many vrbo properties and this one definitely has the most attention to detail.

My wife Linda and I have stayed at the cottage 5 times over the last 6 years.Tom has been the finest host, and his attention to detail has been exemplarily. Our first stay was the most comfort we had experienced anywhere. Every stay thereafter Tom has made improvements that make The Full Circle even more comfortable. The first time I set in the overstuffed leather chair next to the wood burning stove, with a hot cup of coffee, after a long walk on the beach, I was in Heaven. Tom has done a wonderful job with this place. We recently stayed at this property for a weekend and had such a relaxing and comfortable time in this cozy house. Great amenities and what a beautiful view, just a short distance from SF. A real gem in Marin County. Can't say enough positive things about it. If you are looking for a Romantic getaway on the California coast this is the place !!!!! My wife and I spent a very romantic weekend away at this lovely house in November and loved it. The location was perfect and the windows facing the ocean and allowing us the sounds and view of the crashing waves was out of this world. The interior was richly decorated and very comfortable. The upstairs bed was soooo comfortable we didn't want to get out of it. The Gourmet kitchen was to die for and we both enjoyed cooking and preparing our meals there. We didn't want to leave and we will surely be back again and again. This is the perfect place to get away from kids, work, and life in general. Thanks for sharing this lovely home with us and for making our weekend there a very romantic and memorable experience.

I was sitting at work today, wearing the sandals I wore walking Dillon Beach this time last week and little piles of sand appeared near where my feet had been. What wonderful memories!!! This place is even more amazing than all of the pictures would suggest. Thanks to Tom for providing such a beautiful place to escape. We will definitely book again in the future!!! Check out Nick's Cove for a great meal if you can tear yourself away from the cottage for an evening!

We were priveleged to stay in the cottage over Labor Day weekend 2008 with our son who lives in San Francisco. It was even nicer than we had hoped and we enjoyed it very much, particularly the wonderful views from the deck and hot tub, and the comfy beds and gourmet kitchen.
