Enjoy the day at the beach! The Palms of Destin offers a complimentary shuttle (March-September; subject to change) to the Henderson Beach State Park located across the street. Besides a beautiful beach, Henderson Beach State Park offers well kept bathrooms, picnic pavilions with grills, drink machines, and a playground for the kids.

The owner was very responsive and helpful when we made our reservation. However, we arrived way too early for check in which we didn't know was 4pm. At 4pm, the Villa was not ready - housekeeper had not been there and it took until 7pm to get in. Even then, the towels were dirty and smelled like mildew and the place was not adequately cleaned. There was an old beer bong and one flip flop left on the patio right by the front door and many of the glasses in the cabinet were not washed. Throughout our stay, we got continued calls from a plumber hired by the owner to request access to the villa to repair the garbage disposal for the next renter. The villa has a good amount of space and if kept clean with nicer linens, towels, etc then we would have considered coming back. Great access to the pool area and the sports bar is very nice. Long walk to where you park your car. Last, be careful when paying for your stay as there is an automatic charge for "Property Damage Protection" in the quote which I did not want or need for $69. The villa was beautiful and very spacious....the pool was amazing. The only downside to the entire vacation was the lack of wi-fi throughout the property. This was very difficult for 2 business owners. We would recommend it to friends.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
