Newly decorated cozy 2000sq feet home at Northstar, perfect for 2-3 families for your next mountain vacation! Everything you need is here, no need to bring anything along. Pull into the easy access level driveway with room for 4 cars, or pull all the way into the attached garage. Step into the large mudroom with plenty of storage for all your gear. On the main floor you'll find a nicely appointed kitchen which opens to the dining room and living room with vaulted ceilings. The open floor plan is great for entertaining, and the dining room seats 6 comfortably with another 3 seats at the kitchen bar. From the dining room step out onto the deck and large backyard with a great sledding hill for the kids in the winter (sleds provided), and in the summer enjoy the Weber gas grill and dine al fresco under the pine trees. In the living room enjoy a 50 inch big screen HDTV as well as beautiful views of the golf course. Also on the first floor is one of 2 master suites with a queen size bed, 32 inch HDTV and attached full bath, a bunkroom with 2 full size bunk beds along with a twin bed to sleep 5 total, and another half bath in the hallway. The washer and dryer are on this floor as well, and access to the attached 2 car garage. On the second floor is the larger master suite with a queen size bed, 40 inch HDTV, and huge master bath with double sinks, jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Next to the master bedroom is a bright and sunny play area for the kids with another TV, books, games and toys. This is a nice area to sleep extra kids on a blow up mattress. There's also a cute bonus sleeping alcove with 2 twin beds, suitable for smaller children. Cable and Wi-Fi are provided throughout the house.
The location on Basque is great for easy access to the golf course and Minor's Camp daycare. The Northstar shuttle is available on demand, and will pick you up at your door and take you to the Village within minutes, where you'll find skiing, several restaurants, ice skating rink, Starbucks, and more. Take the Highlands Gondola up to the Ritz Carlton for drinks or dinner! Or head to the Rec Center for a workout at the full gym, then enjoy the pool and hot tubs. In the summer there's tennis as well! Everything is here for a vacation you'll never forget.

This is a very beautiful, comfortable and cozy home which made our stay enjoyable and memorable. It is definitely a home vice a "rental". It was very well maintained and more than spacious enough for our group of 10 (5 adults, 4 children, 1 teen). All the comforts of home were included, even toys for my 4 year old daughter. The kids loved the small alcove as a bedroom/hideout. The mudroom was fantastic. The home is exactly as described. I felt extremely fortunate to have been able to rent this home on short notice due to a cancellation. The owners were very accommodating and responded quickly to inquiries. They also followed up with current mountain conditions and sent photos. I would highly recommend this home; it is a great value! I only wished there had been more snow when we visited to build our sledding run, which would have been awesome to watch from the back deck. We would love to come back again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Perfect location, property comes with door-to-door shuttle service when needed. You can park your car and put the keys away. Very well kept property, with all the perks and amenities of a house in the North Star Village area such as skiing, restaurants, club house with workout, swimming, hot tub, arcade etc. Our group age spanned across teenage, to a first grader, the house layout was ideal where everyone had ample room to relax. Owners were attentive, and very responsive with our inquiries. Our stay was during the 2013 ski season, we are planning on returning during the summer. House is directly across from the golf course with spectacular views and summer activities. Without a doubt, worth a return visit. This is our preferred property from now while in North Star!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My family spent a weekend and had a fantastic time. The back yard had two feet of snow on it, and we made a sliding area that was always in use. There were extra snow clothes for our daughter who had none, and everything was cozy and warm. The house was equipped with everything we needed, and then some. There were funky little areas where the kids played and made the most of their imaginations. They even learned how to play checkers! I liked that we could just park our car once we got there. We utilized the shuttle service that took us right from our house to the village where the kids skated and had free s'mores at 3:00. The shuttle also took us to the rec. area. There, we had access to the gym, weight room, pool and hot tubs. There was also an arcade for the kids and it was nice to not have to worry about them during my workout. The area is packed with great eating, and we did make a getaway to the state line for a little gambling. (We won!) I would like to go back up in the summer. The house is just a 5 minute walk away from the golf pro shop, and the course, from what I could tell with 3 feet of snow on it, looked challenging and fun. The owners were great at communicating, and quickly answered our questions about the cold water handles for the shower. ( It sticks a bit) The place was clean and cozy and I will be returning again. I recommend it to people with active kids.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We have been coming to Northstar for the past 15 years. We have loved seeing it develop into the fantastic resort that it is today. Our girls have all learned to ski here, and we appreciate how family-friendly it is. Northstar amenities are second to none.
