This river front house is an architect-designed, beautifully remodelled, light, airy, private retreat with commanding views of the Russian River fading into hillsides of majestic redwoods. Amazing Deck with brand new high end jacuzzi with river views. The 3 bedroom and 2 full bath house is on the point, with a deck, yard, seasonal dock, and two terrific solariums for indoor relaxing. When not on the river you are one mile from Guerneville’s unique shops, eclectic restaurant scene, and nightlife with festivals, live music and theatre.
This well-appointed house offers three queen size beds and a fold out couch with high quality bedding. There are two bathrooms with soft fluffy towels for every guest as well as beach towels. The kitchen is complete for casual to gourmet dining with glassware for wine and cocktails. The house has wireless and VOIP phone with free long distance. There is a seasonal dock that runs from June to September dependent on the Summer Dam. Kayaks are available for your use on the river.
We warmly welcome respectful guests of all lifestyles and family set-ups! Your children are welcome though we hope you’ll help them be extra careful on the deck, dock, and around the river. Dogs are welcome too with careful supervision and clean-up. We hope you enjoy your stay and return often!

Location,location,location! Not only walking distance to town, and right on the river, it's also a great launching pad for adventure and points of interest. We loved the place for chilling too. The bedrooms are all nice, and having two bathrooms with six of us was great. Loved the open floor plan from kitchen to living room, to deck with beautiful views for meals and hanging out together. Our only knock on this rental property, is the patio/deck furniture could use some cushions, and the kitchen cutlery needs to be sharpened. Great house!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

The property is first class: clean, pleasant and very comfortable. The location on the river is good. The Garden Café is a short walk and has nice food at reasonable prices. I would recommend this property.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Very comfortable and clean home with lots of space for entertaining and hanging out. There are 3 full sized bedrooms and a sofa bed so 8 adults can actually sleep comfortably here (no kiddie bunk beds). The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and utensils and there's a great propane bbq grill outside. The jacuzzi is huge and sits on what is my favorite part of the property, a huge deck the length of the home that looks out over the Russian River and all its lushness. We rented off season in April so be aware if you do too, as the dock is not installed off season and there's no easy way to access the river from the property because there's no beach. Otherwise, this was a great value and I'd highly recommend staying here. My friends were all impressed with the surroundings that weekend, which helped make for a great birthday celebration!Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Everything was perfect with this house. They thought of every detail down to the GPS that they have for you already set up for the winery's in the area. The house is beautiful, inside and out. Having your own private dock is just a plus. In the evening we would sit out on the back deck and watch the sun go down over the river. We cannot wait ti go back.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

The home is very comfortable and well-equipped - all you need to bring are your clothes and food. Our family (including 3 teenagers) LOVED the place; we spent a lot of time kayaking, swimming and just relaxing. Bodega Bay and Jenner are a short drive for day trips or a nice dinner. The transaction with Kevin was seamless and he was very responsive and helpful with our questions. I highly recommend this rental - we really enjoyed our stay and will be back!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Our stay at Russian River was fantastic. The house was everything we could have hoped for and more. Perfectly situated on the river, we had a beautiful view (and breeze) from the upper deck as well as river access for swimming whenever we wanted to cool off. The house is really well maintained, comfortably fits 6 - 8 adults and stocked with all the vacation essentials (linens, appliances, wifi, etc). The sunrooms on either side of the deck are a loverly touch, perfect for reading or an afternoon nap. Since it's only about a mile from town, it's easy go grocery shopping or explore the shops. We'll definitely be back!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Our stay at this little gem was wonderful. As soon as we entered the door we felt at home. The open living room with high ceilings makes this home feel very spacious. The large deck off of the living room and two solariums is wonderful - we barbecued each evening and watched the full moon rise over the river over dinner - spectacular. Mornings the sun bathes the deck and it's very relaxing to drink coffee, read a book and look out over the luscious river view. Another surprise is that all 3 bedrooms are very nice and well appointed. Nobody felt as if they had been placed into the "bad room" - it's hard to decide which one to choose. Don't miss out on the hiking in the state park, or rafting down the river - this rounded out an already perfect weekend. We loved this home and can't wait to return.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: Greetings! We are Kevin and Sophia O’Donnell and we are currently residing abroad as US Diplomats. Kevin is a Bay Area native and this is our Russian River dream home. We love to visit for its peace, tranquillity, and convenience to wineries, California’s many natural wonders, and our extended family in San Francisco. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. If you are planning to travel to Panama, India, Colombia, Mexico, Africa and Australia we have lived there and can give you some background.
