About: “My interest in the field of medicine, particularly ophthalmology, was partly influenced by my uncle, who was also an ophthalmologist. Like him, I wanted to be able to help improve people’s lives through clear, healthy vision. After earning my medical degree, I completed many years of advanced training in ophthalmology at the renowned Doheny Eye Institute at the USC School of Medicine. I decided to specialize in retinal surgery because it requires a combination of skill and sensitivity to correct conditions that are highly complex in nature.' “After completing medical training in ophthalmology, I spent two years doing academic training and practicing medicine with doctors in third-world countries.' “When I started practicing over 15 years ago, my goal was to provide patients with not only the latest and most effective surgical solutions for their retinal problems but also the friendly, informative and focused care they deserve. Today, I’m proud to say that I still uphold these standards on a daily basis for every patient I see.”
