It was a really pleasant and nice experience to stay in Tony's apartment! Home is just another word for his apartment! You do not feel like staying in any vacation rental in his apartment but just feel like staying at home! Tony's response is so prompt and Kana is so nice! The apartment is clean and stylish. It has everything that you need! Thank you for offering such a great apartment and we are sure we will stay in Tony's Apartment if we come back to Toronto!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The first thing you notice as you walk in is the great view and how warm and cozy the place feels. It is perfectly furnished and very clean. Everything you may need to make your stay comfortable has been thought of. The 2 bathrooms were very convenient seeing as we were 2 couples staying for the weekend. The bedrooms are also at opposite ends of the condo, so you really feel like you have your own space. The location is great! You are walking distance to shops, restos, grocery stores etc. Even though you are centrally located, you do not hear any traffic noise. We were in town for a wedding and were greatful we could sleep in, it was really quiet. We would definately stay here again when visiting Toronto :)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our overall experience with the condo and Tony was fabulous! Even though we live in the city, we booked the condo as a space to get ready for our wedding over the weekend. The space is nicely decorated and equipped with all your kitchen needs. The rooftop patio also has wonderful city skyline views! With the help of Tony we booked the condo's party room to host a rehearsal dinner for our family. Tony provided very detailed instructions on how to get to the condo, parking and was readily available via email/phone to answer any questions. We had a wonderful time at the condo and have already recommended the condo to our out of town friends/family for their next visit to Toronto! How rare is it to find a place in the centre of a big city that beats a hotel room ten times over? Staying at Tony's apartment in Toronto was a SUPER DUPER experience. I travel a lot, I mean A LOT. I sleep in strange beds more than 80 days per year. I stay at hotels if I must, but I prefer to rent private homes. So believe me, I can compare. The moment I walked into Tony's sunny place I was overwhelmed by its charme. This guy did a great job to make a regular apartment into something special. First of all: clean, clean, clean. Not a speck of dust anywhere. And then: lots of fun retro stuff and art pieces to please the eye. The kitchen is well equiped, the beds are comfortable, there's a television and fast Internet. Bowls filled with candy and chocolates, three or four kinds of coffee and tea, fruit juices and water in the fridge, hair dryer, luxurious shampoo, you name it and it's there. I stayed there alone, but the apartment's lay out allows for 4 or 5 people to stay there easily. On top of all that Tony is a really cool guy. We had great conversations by email and phone from the time I inquired about the availability, till the end of my stay. He checked on me to ask if there was anything he could do to make my stay even better (seriously, I couldn't think of anything!), and when I broke a very nice salad bowl he didn't want me to pay for it. It could have happened to him too, he said. He really wants you to feel at home. For example, you can find yourself something to eat from his freezer or from his kitchen cabinets, as long as you replace the items before you leave. There are several super markets close by. I recommend Sobey's (lots of health food), on 197 Front E, an easy walk . A new liquor store and a huge Dollarama are in the same street. The balcony is equiped with two comfy chairs (the seat cushions for which I found in the wardrobe in the entrance), a great place to sit and see the hustle and bustle of the city from above. I did exactly that while eating the pizza that I had heated up in the oven. The apartment, though downtown, is amazingly quiet. I haven't heard any neighbors, and city sounds can only be heard when the windows are open. For a moment I wasn't sure if I should tell the world about this gem. I just wanted to keep it for myself. But Tony soooo deserves the credit!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our stay in Tony's condo was absolutely perfect. The apartment looks even better than in the pictures, was spotlessly clean, and accommodated 4 adults without any problems at all. But even with all of the great things about the apartment itself, the best was Tony's extremely responsive and helpful support. Being a first time Airbnb customer, Tony really made a lasting and undeniably strong first impression. In my opinion an excellent job done from a very satisfied customer. Our stay at Tony's condo in Toronto was excellent. It was clean and exactly as anticipated based on his photos and his description. Our transaction went smoothly. He was very accommodating and available. He checked in by email to ensure that we were happy and and that we didn't need anything. He even set out a basket of toys for our 3 year old son to play with which I felt was extremely thoughtful. We rented some toddler gear from a Toronto based company and Tony and his neighbor were very helpful with coordinating the drop off/pick up of these items. He allowed us to use his underground parking for a small fee. The location of his condo was great. It was within walking distance of many restaurants, public transportation, grocery stores, and the amazing St. Lawrence Market, as well as many of the attractions including the CN tower, the Rogers Centre, and the Metro Convention Centre. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would certainly recommend staying here to anyone looking for the same.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Tony's delightful apartment is great "bang for the buck" as they say in Canada, meaning great value for money! This Old Town Toronto apartment is absolutely wonderful. The location is great: safe, beautiful, lots of shops, pubs, restaurants, and great access to the street car on King. We had four adults plus a teenager (who slept on the sofa bed) in the apartment for 3 days and it was very comfortable and impeccably clean. The bed linen is lovely and crisp, the towels thick and soft. Having two bathrooms was ideal. We made use of the kitchen (grocery stores are only a block away) and even baked a birthday cake for a friend. Also having a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer was handy. We were able to spend a few relaxing evenings playing Scrabble, watching television and using our laptops, with the Internet being super fast. We could use Tony's private parking spot against a small fee, a nice gesture for which we are very grateful. We highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have been in Toronto a couple of times before but this was our first airbnb experience. This was soo much better then a hotel room in Toronto. Quiet place downtown. The Wifi works great, we also could made free phone calls all around Canada to stay in touch with friends and family. The kitchen is very complete, but there are also nice restaurants in the neigboorhood as Thai, India, Japan and all the other nationalities. We tried also the The George Street Diner (restaurant) for our breakfast, you can see it from the balcony, it is painted all red on the outside. It is open in the morning and beginning of the afternoon. Nice place, a real old style North American diner. The best street for shopping is King street (2 blocks away) This street has many design furniture shops, but if you suddenly need something cheap just walk to the dollar store at Moss Park. There is a hostel for homeless people there, but they never harm you I heard. It adds to the color locale of the big city, I guess. Also if you go direction King street there is 1 block further Front St East good stores for food. Two of them are open 24 hours every day. I hope Tony's apartment will be available when we visit Toronto again because we'll definitely want to stay there again! Thank you Tony, for letting us use your nice place.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

There are not enough words to describe how happy we were with this apartment. Everything is done to make us feel like we were home!!! The moment we stepped through the door we wanted to stay here for ever. The apartment is fantastic, even better than the pictures, and the view is amazing!!! Tony is friendly, communicative, intelligent and always does everything to help us. He even let us park our car in his garage spot. And when we made a tiny remark about daylight waking us up in the morning, they rushed to the stores to return half an hour later with new black-out curtains!!!!!!!!! With May temperatures fluctuating we used both the heating and the airconditioning, and both work great. The neighborhood is great, charming restaurants and shops. At the same time big city vibe and cozy village feel!!! Good food everywhere. Public transportation one block away. The street car on King takes you to the center in mere minutes. We used the gym every day and had romantic breakfast on the balcony seeing the city wake up in the morning. We are going to come back here next year for three weeks!!! We have traveled a lot around the world, and the fact is: this is the best place we have ever been to!!! Thanks Tony for this amazing opportunity!!! You are super nice and we are super happy.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My second stay at Tony's. Again it surpassed my expectations. The place is just so comfortable. I spent a few days lounging on the sofa, getting much work done thanks to the super fast Internet. The endless free phone calls I could make were helpfull for staying in touch with my family and friends. I didn't bother to cook for myself, although the kitchen is perfect, the tempation of good restaurants and pubs around me was just too great. Tony, I guess I'm becoming a regular ;), I'll be back for sure.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Tony's place is in a superb location, being walking distance to many attractions, The St. Lawerence Market, Distillery District and Eaton Centre for example. Clean, warm and comfortable, when the sun is out, the unit is awash in bright sunshine. Beautiful views and al fresco dining on the rooftop patio. The kitchen is fully equipped. Tony is a very informative and attentive host, and was fully available throughout our stay. Arrival and departure procedures were seamless. Great spot!Did you find this review helpful? The stay at Tony's was amazing! A very friendly guy with a super cute apartment. The view was spectacular, the rooms very recently refurbished in a both fun and tasteful way. Tony has really inspired me, from now on Mid Century Design is really my thing! Everything was spotless clean. Tony was very helpful before and after the booking. I had a lot of questions and he dealt with them professionally, taking away all my doubts. I'm so glad I chose Tony's place to stay! On top of that the area is really nice, St Lawrence Market is great and close by, and public transportation is around the corner. Actually I walked everywhere as the apartment is located downtown. All in all I can only recommend this place to anybody wanting to stay in Toronto!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We literally had an 11th hour change of plans. The hosts were up until past 11PM responding to my request for the condo rental for the very next day. They were so sweet and conscientious to get the rental set up and I sincerely appreciate it. It is a cozy place with a beautiful view of the city and wonderful light during the day. Two stores (Sobey and Rabba) within walking distance to purchase groceries to be prepared in the fully appointed kitchen. I am so glad to have found this little condo in the city, made our trip to Toronto memorable and happy.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/4

This was my first trip to Toronto, and we must say, I’m very happy I didn’t stay in a hotel! Its a lovely apartment, perfect area, in a fantastic city! The apartment is in perfect condition and fully equipped! It is very clean and I enjoyed my stay very much! I found coffee and tea, detergent, soap and shampoo. I felt completely at home in this bright and clean place. Two streetcar lines, one on King street and one on Queen, will take you into town, but you can also walk, it is only minutes from the financial district. There is a Sobeys 24 hour supermarket one block away, as well as a great arab store. Other shops and restaurants are also walking distance. I can fully recommend the following restaurants: Bombay Palace on 71 Jarvis St and a Thai place called Khao San Road on 326 Adelaide West. Both are only two blocks walking distance and serve very good food. If you like furniture and design, there a many high end furniture stores around the apartment building, and on Queen Street East in Leslieville, you will find many retro and vintages shops. Tony, thanking you for letting me stay in your cute and funky place, you will definitely see me come back!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

We LOVED this place! The condo was absolutely gorgeous (even nicer than the pictures!) and has everything you could wish for, from free wifi and a large flat-screen TV to laundry machines to a very well-equipped kitchen. The beds (one king (!) and one queen) were super comfortable and the condo was impeccably clean. The mattresses and linen were obviously new. The location was also perfect; just a few minutes walking from the St Lawrence market and very close to the financial district. We walked everywhere, but there are two street car stops nearby. Highly recommended! We will definitely stay here again!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/4

Dear Tony, thank you so very much for letting me stay in your beautiful apartment. It is immaculate, well taken care of, and you really thought of everything! One evening we didn't even bother going into town. We cooked our own dinner and just sat there with a glass of wine, enjoying the view of Toronto by night! My girlfriend, who's a designer herself, loved the furniture you used and the decoration. Well done!
