We offer two luxury (self-catering) apartments in this Edwardian building located by the river Thames next to the world famous Tower of London and iconic Tower Bridge. The two bedroom apartment comfortably sleeps up to 6 people (plus an additional travel cot suitable for a baby up to the age of 18 months can be made available on request), The second one bedroom apartment is bright and spacious and sleeps up to 5 people (plus travel cot on request). Both apartments are elegantly furnished and represent excellent value for money given the prestigious location, high quality and amenities they provide. Tower Hill is the most historic part of London and is well located for tourists as well as those who wish to stay in London whilst doing business in the City. The area is very well served by public transport such as Tube, Bus and Railway but also the delightful river boat service located across the street at Tower Pier. At night the bright lights of London provide a romantic backdrop to your evening meal and entertainment. The area is well served by literally 100's of local restaurants to suit all budgets and sophisticated wine bars and London pubs. Sight seeing and the Theatres of the WestEnd are easily accessible by tube, bus or short cab ride. We aim to ensure that our apartments feel like your home away from home and our location next to the majestic Tower of London will leave you with fantastic memories and wanting to return!
Tower Hill is a fantastic location for tourists, families and business people. The views from each room within these elegant apartments located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a small, exclusive residential building are spectacular. Trinity Square dates back to medieval times and originally the gardens were the Market Place located outside the Tower of London moat. In modern times the Victorians and Edwardians built large civic buildings such as the Port of London Authority Building which is soon to be reborn as London's only 7 star hotel. They turned the gardens into a beautiful, sophisticated London square flanked by the Tower of London, the underground station and other civic building such as ours which were converted to elegant homes in the late 1990's. The nearby Thames path enable gusts to take a relaxing walk along the embankment and take in magnificent views as they walk to nearby St Paul's Cathedral, The Tate Modern, Covent Garden and the West End beyond.
Tower Hill has an abundance of high quality restaurants, which cater to every palate and every wallet. A short stroll past the 'Beef Eaters' (guards of the Tower and the Crown Jewels) you will find St Katherine's Dock filled with swanky private yachts as well a wide selection of trendy eateries. Just across Tower Bridge at Butlers Wharf you will find Sir Terrance Conran's famous group of restaurants including 'Pont De La Tour' (Fish) and the 'Chop House' (contemporary English food). Both these locations offer alfresco dining by the river for that perfect romantic and memorable evening spent watching the world go by with friends and family.
Perfect for sightseeing and business trips: From our apartment you can easily visit all the famous sites without need for a car. Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament are approximately a 7 minute journey by Tube or 20 minutes by bus. This means that guests can easily access to the main tourist attractions such as St Paul's cathedral, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, as well as the National Gallery and British museum etc. Harrods and the hustle and bustle of all shopping along Oxford, Regent and Bond Streets are also a short journey by tube or bus but Tower Hill and the City also provide an extensive choice of shopping close by. The tour buses pass outside our front door if you want the thrill of seeing the sights from the famous London Red Bus!

- The apartment is quite spacious. The master bedroom has a large double bed with views out over the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the river. The lounge has a double sofa-bed, which suitable for 2 people. We can also arrange for 1 additional foldaway single bed to be placed in either the master bedroom (which is ideal for parents with young children) or in the lounge for an adult. Wonderful apartment, great location.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in London, thanks in great measure to the extremely positive experience we had renting the one bedroom apartment at Trinity Square from Martin. The building was secure. The apartment was very roomy and the view of the Tower was stunning. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and equipment we would need if we wanted to cook (which we didn't).Even though there were only two of us, the apartment would still be very comfortable for four people. Particularly appreciated the dishwasher, washer/dryer and separate stall shower. Martin was an excellent host, meeting us at the predetermined time and showing us how to use everything in the apartment. He went above and beyond, spending some time acquainting us with the neighborhood and mentioning particularly good restaurants that we should try. He also gave us some very good tips on using the transportation system (busses and underground) which saved us time and money! We also appreciated the basket of goodies which he so graciously left for us. This was our first experience with VRBO and we were thoroughly impressed. We are just back from a 6 night stay with our 2 children in this 1-bedroom flat, and we absolutely loved our experience. We tried to book the two bedroom in January, since we had stayed there in the past and loved it. Despite trying to book it 6 months in advance it was taken, no surprise, given Martin's hospitality, the location, and the views. Martin offered the one bedroom instead, he made sure we had more than sufficient bedding on the fold out beds. The location and views are as advertised - perfect view of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, a 2 minute walk through a small park to the Tower Hill Tube Station, the DLR station as well made for a quick trip to Canary Wharf where my office was or to the bus for great curry in White Chapel - transportation was simple with all options right there. The interior of the flat was perfect, Martin had stocked plenty of provisions, including food for dinner, since our flight from the US arrived late in the evening. The beds, bathroom, kitchen, etc were all wonderful. I rang Martin from Heathrow and he was there waiting for us at 22:30. He also gave us great suggestions for the next day. The area felt very safe at all times of day and night, and the building was quite secure. I had several nice jogs early in the morning around the Tower of London and then over Tower Bridge. Having rented from Martin before and now having had another great success, I won't bother looking anywhere else for our next trip.

It is proving to be as popular as our 2 bedroom apartment for both romantic 'couples' , friends who wish to share, and small families of up to 5 guests. We were sorry that our two bedroom place wasn't available on this occasion as we know that you have enjoyed that in the past but we are delighted that our spacious 1 bedroom place worked a treat for you. Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) stayed in Martin's one bedroom flat. The photos and description shown are an accurate depiction of the suite. But, it is even more roomy than it looks. We were not over crowded once the beds were made up in the morning. Lots of room in the kitchen and dining area too. The view is spectacular. The location can't be beat either. Multiple restaurants with reasonable prices just down stairs. This flat helped make our London holiday a fantastic time. So close to transit, food, shops, and tourist attractions. Thanks again Martin for sharing these perfectly located flats. We hope to return!

Having stayed in Martin's 2 bed apartment during the fantastic 2012 Olympics with our family. My wife & I decided to have a week in London this year. Sadly the same apartment was unavailable for our chosen week. However when the single bedroom apartment in the same building was offered we had no worries about the quality of accommodation. Everything was completely as advertised, it is a clean & spacious city centre apartment decorated & equipped to a very high standard with views from all windows overlooking the Tower of London, Tower Bridge & the River Thames (exactly as shown in the pictures). We had a problem with the hot water tap in the bathroom sink. (A plumber was needed) A text to Martin had this fully sorted by the following day without the need for us to stay in - Great service. The apartment is conveniently located within a ten minute walk of underground, main line, bus & river transport, access to anywhere in the city is easy. There is a fully fitted kitchen ( Plenty of cutlery, glasses & crockery including dishwasher & washing machine if needed). Sainsbury & Waitrose supermarkets nearby if needed, (forgot to mention the very nice 'welcome pack' bread, milk, butter,jam, wine, plus lots of other goodies, so breakfast for the following morning was taken care of - no panic to get to the supermarket) or for eating out there are so many restaurant choices within a gentle evening stroll ( less than 100 metres from the front door, plus St Katherine's Dock or just over Tower Bridge) there is something for everyone. We managed to fit in everything we had planned during our week - the Tower, the Shard, London Eye, Petticote Lane, Camden Lock, a West End Show, Spittalfields, Greenwhich & Cutty Sark & River trip, plus a few other things. After a hard day being a tourist, it was nice to leave the 'hurly burly' of the city behind the front door - up in the lift, into the apartment and have somewhere comfortable to relax and make the next important decision, like where are we going to eat this evening? & what are we doing tomorrow? So, we had a brilliant week & certainly will return next year as we have only just begun to see all that London has to offer. We would recommend the apartment to anyone looking for that somewhere special to stay - there is no better view to be had in London that this! Thanks again Martin. J&P W - Suffolk
