Looking for a cozy log cabin so you can enjoy a white winter or a beautiful warm summer? Our cabin is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor activities and surrounding beauty!
This beautiful 3 level home is a true log cabin. On the main floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen with dining table that seats 8. Next to the kitchen is a cozy seating area with 2 couches and a chair next to a wood burning fireplace. There is a flatscreen television (reception depends on weather), DVD player, and a stereo system in which you can plug in your iPod, iPhone or listen to CDs. Or, just enjoy all the french doors that surround the main floor while you look outside at the beautiful Tahoe trees!
Downstairs, you will find the master bedroom with a king bed, a large bathroom with a shower/tub, and a bonus room. The bonus/playroom has bunk beds, perfect for two children or teens. In addition, there is a toddler or children's bed located next to the bunkbeds and a single fold away futon for a child. Also enjoy a television, DVD player, plenty of board games, Playstation 2, XBox, and some video games. Next to the bonus room is a fully equipped laundry room with linens and towels.
On the top floor there are two bedrooms with queen beds. There are both equipped with a dresser and closet. Each room has a window and a door to the balcony, where you can enjoy watching the snow fall. On this floor, you will also find a large bathroom with a shower/tub.
Serene Lakes is a beautiful secluded haven for all families in the winter and in the summer! For the ski lovers, we are directly across the street from Royal Gorge, this lovely cabin is also a 3 minute drive to Soda Springs Ski Resort, 5 minute drive to Sugarbowl, and 5 minutes to Boreal. For the summer sun lovers, we are located in the middle of the beautiful Tahoe National Forest with walking distance to plenty of hiking trails and secluded lakes.

About the owner: We currently live in Half Moon Bay, California and are parents to two boys. This home has been in my family for over 30 years.

Perfect place for families and children to learn how to ski and adventure in the wilderness. This cabin is located in Serene Lakes, in the middle of the Tahoe National Forest.
