Major renovations in 2012 included new ceilings, flooring, paint, furniture, appliances, light fixtures and wireless internet. The renovations continue for 2013 with new patio carpet, dishwasher, sliding patio door, new shower hardware and dishes! The condo is part of a 12-unit building, which makes the oceanfront pool with private walkway to the beach seem like you have it all to yourself!
This spacious first floor oceanfront condo has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and sleeps up to 8. The living room and master bedroom have an extended covered oceanfront deck with spectacular views of the ocean overlooking the pool (Opening May 1). The living room has a 40' flat screen TV with DVD player, a CD player/iPod docking station and queen sleeper sofa. The living room, dining area and kitchen have new wood flooring throughout.
All bedrooms received new carpet, TVs and beds in 2012. The master bedroom boasts a king bed with private bath. The 2nd bedroom offers a queen bed with a street side extended balcony shared by the 3rd bedroom, which has 2 twin beds and a Sony PlayStation 2 with plenty of games.
The kitchen is fully equipped for all types of dining and simple housekeeping. Kitchen appliances include a new dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, garbage disposal, new microwave, new oven, coffee maker, food processor, blender and toaster.
You will have covered parking for one car with an additional parking space available. We protect the quality of our home by not allowing pets or smoking and only rent to families and responsible adults. We do not provide towels, linens or baby furniture, but we can assist you in renting. Security deposit is required, NC tax is 13%. Our calendar is updated several times a week.
Just down the street is the marina with daily departures on fishing charters, sunset cruises, dinner cruises and boat rentals. When you’re tired of the pool or beach, visit the North Carolina Aquarium located at the south end of the island near Fort Fisher and Kure Beach. You can also take a ferry ride to historic Southport for a fun day trip where there are wonderful restaurants and antique shops.
There are also many top-ranked golf courses nearby and Wilmington is only 15 minutes away. The historic riverfront downtown has brick streets, waterfront restaurants, antique shops, horse-drawn carriage rides and fantastic restaurants. In Wilmington, you can find a major mall, airport and the USS North Carolina Battleship Memorial with daily tours.

We enjoyed staying in this condo because it was centrally located along the Carolina/Kure Beach coast, and very accessible to activities in other areas. This accessibility proved to be important when we had a rainy day, which led to the NC Aquarium at Ft. Fisher and a movie in Wilmington. Each activity took less than 45 minutes to access and kept our under-age-6 crowd happy. For my part, (I'm the Nana), the condo was only up one floor from the parking area. The condo was clean and decorated very nicely with beach-type accoutrements. Plenty of dishes and pots and pans if you want to cook yet multiple good restaurants that deliver if you don't. And don't forget Britt's donuts (they are closed on Sunday). Only a few blocks away. We recommend being there at 8:30 when they open to get a "warm one." All around a wonderful location and a wonderful place! We will definitely go back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

My family of 4 stayed in this spacious updated Condo for the weekend. The condo is centrally located near restaurants and nightlife! The location is perfect for a day on the beach or a day in the pool. We took a day trip to Southport via the ferry and enjoyed some fresh seafood. Great place...we'll be back next year!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Our needs included room for 6 adults, close to the beach, and easy internet access. The condo is spacious and could accomodate 8. That would be okay for sleeping but crowded living. We had plenty of room for cooking, game playing, and relaxation. Our party had multiple electronic devices that needed to access the internet and the isp contract allowed all to do so. The beach is outside the front door and facilitates drink delivery, multiple excursions, and fast relief from hot sun or rain. All this at an affordable price. Please don't take our slot on the calendar.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

About the owner: After moving to North Carolina years ago, we quickly learned one of the best beaches and towns to relax in is Carolina Beach. After looking for a long time, we finally found the right place on the beach to enjoy with family and friends and now we want to share it with you.
Why the Owner Chose Carolina Beach:
Carolina Beach doesn't steal the headlines like other beach towns, but it has just enough to get us by and keep us entertained on vacation...and it doesn't have too much where you have to sit in traffic trying to get there. We chose to name our condo 'BLUE PARADISE' for two reasons. 1) The condo is unmistakenly blue on the outside....a blue that would only pass on the beach and nowhere else. 2) No matter what is going on in the rest of the world, a day at the beach, by the pool or laying around while on vacation at our condo has got to be PARADISE compared to the hustle and bustle of normal life!

Our condo gives you the option to lay around all day on the beach, by the pool or inside watching TV, surfing the web or playing games....whatever you want. We also are withing walking distance to the shops, restaurants, pier and carnival on the Carolina Beach Boardwalk.
