We enjoyed our long weekend at your cozy mini apartment. We hiked, shopped and sight-seed all around the area. The pull out couch was surprisingly comfy!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything clean, handy. Well-equipped kitchen. Pleasant, understated, tasteful decor, dishes. Loved the porch for "eating out." Very good rate for the type of accommodations. Nice little basket of welcoming coffee, tea, snacks. Fluffy towels, too!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2001
About the owner: Former New Yorker who wanted the country lifestyle for children who are now grown and gone. Love to walk to 'in town' activities, yoga class, restaurants and movies
Why the Owner Chose Great Barrington:
We chose the Berkshires because of their proximity to New York and Boston. The outdoor activities we enjoyed such as hiking and canoeing were readily available but also the sophisticated restaurants and summer theater the Berkshires are known for.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
Comfortable home base for exploring the Berkshire Hills area. In-town home so you can walk to church or the Farmers Market on Sunday morning, go to indie movies, restaurants and cool coffee shop.
Short drive to Butternut Basin or Catamount for skiiing, live theater, dance and traditional Tanglewood picnics in the summer. Stay for the annual Berkshire Film Festival in May or summer craft fairs.
Tour historic mansions like Naumkeag, or the Mount, home of Elizabeth Wharton.
