Our trip to this lake house was perfect! The house is very comfortable, very clean and inviting. We had a great view of the lake from the deck, where we spent lots of time. We will be returning next year to this same home.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We loved our stay here - house was very warm and cozy and our young kids loved the sandy beach nearby. We usually go to the beach but decided to try out the lake based on a friend's recommendation and we had a wonderful time. We'll be backRecommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We wanted an easy, no traffic getaway and we found it! The kids were able to walk to the lake and the house was comfortable and all necessities were there. My only suggestion is to do a Costco run prior as the food stores are not as plentiful as they are in Northern Virginia. Thumbs up-there is nothing like being by the lake!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This home was perfect for our family vacation. The house is very comfortable with it's country charm and the guest house is an added bonus for larger families! The little beach in the cove right at the end of the property was a hit with the kids. We rented a boat and explored the lake as well. Found a cute little restaurant to motor up to and enjoyed a delicious lunch. We highly recommend this property and will definitely make it our number one choice when vacationing on Lake Anna!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: We are native Virginians and our 4 children still love to get to the lakehouse any opportunity they have. We've been coming to Lake Anna for over 20 years and love the changes that we've seen take place - it's always a great family time!
Why the Owner Chose Lake Anna:
It was close to where we live full time so we could come for the day and it would still be worth the trip. We are lake people too - love the fresh water.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We don't have a telephone or computer so it's really a get away when we come to the lakehouse. It's a time where you can get back to the basics of having normal conversations, playing games and watching old movies.
