Located in the Pacific Monarch 500 feet from Waikiki Beach,this Ocean Front Condo is located on the 27th.floor with a Spectacular spanning view from Diamond Head to all of Waikiki. Roof top Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi. Recreation room and Meeting facilities. Internet and WiFi included Plasma Screen TVs and DVD Players.Kitchen well equipped. Telephones are not provided.
Pacific Monarch: This condominium complex is located in Central Waikiki at 2427 Kuhio Ave. The cross street is Uluniu. The central location allows easy access to the beach, restaurants, stores & tourist shops.
Amenities: The unit sleeps 8 maximum. Each bedroom has 1 queen size bed. The sofa has a pullout double bed. There is 1 bathroom with a shower/bath. Linens and towels are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils and dishes. There is Cable TV, a VCR/DVD and stereo system. This condo is our second home so it is well furnished and maintained.
Internet: High Speed Cable Internet access is FREE
No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted.
Lanai: There is a spacious open lanai in 2703 with great ocean and city views. The lanai has a table, 2 chairs. I have a real lanai that you can go out on and enjoy. Most other lanai's in Waikiki are too small to actually go out and use.
Pool/Spa: On the roof of the building is a heated pool and spa. There are magnificent views of Waikiki from the pool deck. At night the spa is a great place to relax and enjoy the night sky. The floor below has a sauna, showers, restrooms and party room with ice machine.
Condo can also be rented as a 1 BDRM with Bathroom and Kitchen with connecting door.
Rent $270 per night for 2 BDRM
and $150.00 for 1 BDRM.
Since there are 2 adjoining condos the calendar may not reflect accurately as the dates marked 'booked' represent only the dates that both condos are occupied. If the calendar is marked 'tenative', only one condo maybe available. Please contact the property manager to verify availability.
Area Info
500 Feet from Waikiki Beach,the building is in the heart of all the action but condo is high enough so that street noise is minimal.2 Blocks from International Market Place and behind the Hyatt Hotels.
Parking: Parking is available for $ 20 per day. A ticket machine at the garage entrance accepts bills from $1 to $20, but does not give change. Machine takes credit cards.The parking garage is located on floors 2 to 5 of the Pacific Monarch building.
Parking is also available 3 blocks away for $12 per night.
Laundry: A coin-operated laundry room is available on the 3rd floor.
Bus: Bus transportation is very convenient. There is a bus stop right next to the Pacific Monarch. Buses come by every few minutes and can take you to most major places on Oahu. The bus is particularly convenient for transportation to the Ala Moana Shopping Center.
Conveniences: Adjacent to or across the street from the Pacific Monarch are 3 convenience stores and 3 restaurants. There is a popular barbecue restaurant, steak house and café. The Hyatt Regency is next door with its high-end restaurants. Fast food restaurants are right around the corner. The International Market Place is just 2 blocks away and the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center is 3 blocks away. Kapiolani Park is located at the end of Waikiki with its many attractions including the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, tennis courts and sports fields. A travel desk is located in the lobby for tours and local attractions.
Beach: Waikiki beach is a “very short” walk. Just walk past the Hyatt Regency and you’re there!. Enjoy an evening stroll on Kapiolani Blvd and you are home within minutes.

I will talk about the things I would change first. I rented adjoining units numbers 2702 and 2703. I found them to be clean but very dated. Both the linens and the towels seemed as old as the furnishings. We had to change the sheets on the bed the first night because they were old and had balls all over them. The carpet was light in color and very stained in spots. What was most impressive was the view from the 27th floor. They were corner units also. Pacific Monarch is 21/2 blocks from the beach so it made for very easy access everyday. We were able to walk at night to many restaurants. On the balconey, there were beach chairs which we used and some beach toys.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thanks for your comments.The linens and towels have been replaced. The carpet has been professionally cleaned.Even though we request no shoes in the home,renters sometimes still wear beach soiled footware and stain the carpets.

We area family of four with teenagers who rented both condos for 10 days. The views were spectacular and condos were close to beach and shops. There was plenty of room for the four of us with wifi provided. Cost to rent both condos was very reasonable with everything we needed provided. Hope to return one day.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Spectacular view and location December 20, 2010 Having a group of 6, there was plenty of room for all of us. The view was amazing as this is a full end unit overlooking Waikiki Beach. A short block to the beach and all the shopping and night life. Jeanne, the Realtor that handles the condo was very helpful and was even able to provide us with parking, although that is not always part of the deal. Great Place February 5, 2011 We loved it!!! Great location, wonderful view of the beach and Diamond Head. All the comforts of home (without the snow). Couldn't have been more pleased. Great Waikiki Accommodation April 17, 2011 We were pleasantly surprised with this two bedroom condo in Waikiki. Family Condo on a Budget August 31, 2011 This building was excellent. Great location only being 5 min walk from beach, zoo, shops and restaurants. Free parking and WIFI. Breath taking veiw August 29, 2011 We stayed at the Pacific Monarch 27th floor and had wonderful views all around the whole area. At night the city scape was incredible the lights and sounds made for a fun time. The height gives you great panoramic scenery of the ocean and beach, mountains behind and city all around. A grocery store only 2 blocks away allowed us to cook some fine meals in the condo as well enjoy the fine dinning in the area.
