Large Mediterranean style house; 4400 sqft, 6 bedroom + 4 full bath + office suite/nanny unit, with its own separate entry (can be used as the 6th bedroom). On the very Top of Tiburon Peninsula with panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay, Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito yacht harbors etc.. Two story stucco house with detached 3 car garage. Built on almost one acre lot with private gardens and water fountains. The property is extremely private with no neighbor views to either front or back yards. Located right next to a county preserved huge open space for hiking and mountain biking with views of the entire San Francisco Bay.
The master bedroom suite has has an original Finnish sauna, steam room/shower, fireplace and a jetted tub with views over Golden Gate Bridge.
This house has served as an executive home with breathtaking views.
The upstairs formal living room and dining area next to the gourmet kitchen and warm family room area with large deck areas offers sweeping views of Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, Sausalito, Belvedere Island with yacht clubs and lagoon, Richardson Bay and Mt. Tamalpaias. Downstairs bedrooms and TV room all have a view and a sliding glass doors to the outside lawn area. Large separate home office suite with private entry could be used as a nanny unit. Down below garden area has a full size 8 person Jacuzzi tub with a bar counter, views of the Bay and sunset. The upstairs bedroom, kitchen and common areas are level with the garage and do not require a single step from the garage, which could be convenient for older people and for wheelchair access.
The house is high up on the point of Tiburon Peninsula, close to the ferry station and old downtown of Tiburon. You can walk or drive to downtown, where you can find more than a dozen fine restaurants, great shopping, bicycle rentals, old elegant movie theatre, gourmet coffee shops and food market, Salons and Spas, fitness center/classes, clothing and gift shops, business services, two small hotels etc.
Tiburon has always been regarded as a jewel of the San Francisco bay. Famous people like professional tennis player Andrea Agassi used to own a house here. Movie star Robert Redford owned a house just one street up from our property. Tiburon is very close to San Francisco; 22min ferry ride to downtown and Fisherman's Warf (car will take about 30 min). Napa Valley wine country is less than an hour away with world famous wineries and vineyards. There are a lot of fun things to do for all different ages. We stayed here for an extended period in Summer 2012. The views are world class. The rooms are all very large, particularly the bathrooms that have large soaking tubs, saunas, etc. The house will sleep a dozen comfortably. The owner is very responsive and reasonable. If we had any question, he was on the phone within minutes. The house sits up on a hill reached via winding roads, so plan to have vehicle(s) as it is not the easiest walk to the ferry. Enjoy the deer who are everywhere, including walking up to the front door the night we arrived. If you go, hike into the preserve and walk up to the top for views all the way from Berkeley to Mt. Tam. Kitchen is large and well-equipped. This is a good home for entertaining. Recommend the owner and the house for larger groups wanting to be in Tiburon for the views. A perfect home with a perfect view. This home is all that it claims to be and more. We had a family reunion over Thanksgiving with 17 people aged 1 to 80 and everyone had plenty of space to relax and be together in small groups and large. The owner is attentive and easy to work with, the home comfortable and spacious with lots of amenties, and the sunsets and view will literally take your breathe away!Did you find this review helpful? It was such a choice to make: morning coffee on the deck with the Golden Gate Bridge as a backdrop and/or an evening glass of CA wine on the deck to watch the sun set? The view, alone, is worth a stay in this wonderful, gracious home. We had a family reunion with adult children and a little grandchild and no one “tripped over” anyone else. There were sitting areas aplenty for conversation, reading, or checking Facebook on the wireless network. The kitchen was so well equipped we actually ate most meals “at home” and found it relaxing, easy, and elegant. We absolutely loved it, found the owner friendly and attentive, and would love to stay again or recommend it to anyone else.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

A group of Chicago sailors decended on Tiburon for a long weekend of yacht racing in the St Francis Yacht Club Big Boat Series. The house was perfect for 4 owners and our boat crew. The bedrooms are similar in size and features, so we all fit in comfortably. Grilling on the BBQ and dining on the large table fit us all in. The washer and dryer were handy to rinse off salt encrusted crew grear. The home is a clean and fresh as the photographs suggest. Jari was helpful getting us the reservations and recommending local POI. Views from the deck are incomparable. I downtown Tiburon, Sam's was loaded with sailors to compare tall sea tales. A whole lot of fun, and we plan on returning next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Nine of us stayed four days in this lovely home. The photos on the website are accurate representations of the home’s beautiful interior and well-landscaped grounds. It’s a great place to stay – close enough to the attractions of the San Francisco area but nestled high on a hillside with its outdoor decks on which to relax and view the bay, mountain range, and Golden Gate Bridge. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, and at the end of each fast-paced day we looked forward to returning to this wonderful retreat. We had the opportunity to meet the owner upon arriving and found him to be welcoming, friendly, and hospitable. We recently stayed at this home over the July 4th week, and truly enjoyed our stay! The house has spectacular views, and is in a great location (easily accessible to SF, Sausalito, and Napa Valley). The house itself is very spacious, has 2 "signature" rooms and several other very serviceable rooms that allowed our group to spread out and relax. Minor negatives, the 3 tvs are all wired together, so everyone has to watch the same programming. Also, pretty steep descent down to the lovely spa. The owner is extremely accessible, flexible, and a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend anyone to rent this house. Thank you very much for renting to us your beautiful Tiburon home! Everything was perfect, you made it all so easy, and you are wonderful to work with! I gathered there with a group of 7 other long time girlfriends (in our 40's now) and we had SUCH a beautiful and fun time! Your big patio with the stunning view of GG Bridge and Belvedere, etc... was our favorite place to hang out, catch up, and relax. The kitchen is beautiful and all the various rooms and beds to sleep in were more than enough! The icing on the cake was that beautiful trail with the 360 degree views of Bay, Angel Island, GG Bridge, Marin, right above your house!! And the convenience to down town Tiburon is worth noting too. We cannot wait to rent and stay at this GEM again soon!!!
