The daffodil house was a wonderful place to spend thanksgiving in Fort Collins. The owner even provided extra plates for the large group. We had a dozen people for dinner and enjoyed the kitchen and house very much. There was plenty of room for the guys to enjoy the football games, while the turkey and food was cooking in the kitchen. The three bedrooms were comfortable and having the washer dryer was very convenient. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood and very convenient to shopping and the college. I would use this house again if I ever need another great holiday away from home.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

I have to say this is an amazing house! My family had a good stay in that lovely house for one week. My wife and Mom came to visit me for I have performed my postdoc research in CSU and too busy to back home. They love the back yard so much! and we had a great BBQ party in the back yard for about 20 people. Actually, my friends who joined the party also love this house too. A new engage lovers asked me if the house owner would like to sell the house. They want to purchase this house! Besides, Theresa is very kind and easy to work with! Thanks for this lovely house for leaving us a good memory!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children.

My family and I rented the house with another family for CSU Homecoming weekend. It was a great place and we had a wonderful stay. The house was very comfortable and accommodating. Better cable TV, i.e., a full cable box, would be nice. That's because we hit a weekend with bad weather and changing stations is sort of painful. But that's my only (minor) request. Overall, it was a great place and Theresa was very easy to work with.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

In general the Daffodil House stays very cool even in the summer months because of the lower levels and excellent ventilation. I have installed a air conditioning system in the upper level for future quests.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/2

Great experience, bigger than it looks in the pictures. We were there for 11 days for a softball tournament, brought the entire team over for a BBQ in the backyard, kids played across the street in the main court yard. Each room had its own bathroom, located in a great area close to shopping. The backyard was very nicely landscaped. Would definately do it again. The only downfall was the home was hot. It was 100 degrees plus most of the week and only a small air conditioner. Thank you Theresa for a fantastic week.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

Daffodil House was exactly as described. My son and his fiance found many elements of the house they would like to have in their own. The patio and gardens were the focus of our evenings, very relaxing and beautiful. My wife and our granddaughters loved the shady front walk and swing. The house was perfect for our needs with comfy bedrooms handling all 3 of our families. The TV room entertained the kids when we couldn't stay outside because of the smoke from the nearby forest fire (only dampened our stay for 1 day). We used the office to keep up with the internet postings on the fire, thanks to wi-fi. Ft Collins has wonderful parks and greenspaces, which we made great use of, especially Spring Canyon Community Park (the kids would have lived there if we let them!). We came for a wedding and did all the tourist things, too. Breweries and Old Town were great. The mountains would have been better minus the fire, but we were able to spend some time there, too. All-in-all, the trip was great! Daffodil House was perfect for our needs, accomodating all of us comfortably, centrally located to the wedding and reception, great shopping, amazing parks and outdoors. The High Park fire combined with 100+ temperatures only really inconvenienced us badly on one day. The house does not have a/c, so on the one day that the smoke settled over town, we couldn't open the windows and it was a little uncomfortable sleeping. Next day was fine. Our stay lasted a week - we all wished for more time in Ft Collins! Highly recommend Daffodil House and our very helpful and informative landlord.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.
