When considering a rental unit in a foreign country you want a place that has it all. 45 min. North of Cabo San Lucas, 6 miles South of Todos Santos is Casa Fresh a newly constructed casita just steps from San Pedrito, one of Southern Bajas' best surfing points. Enjoy sunset drinks on the roof top patio, watch the whales pass by or just take a long walk on the beach.
Pescadero is a quickly expanding community with many new attractions, the Sand Bar is the local "gringo" watering hole, definitely worth a visit! Have the bar tender Gabe make you one of his famous margaritas or stop by for all you can eat pizza on Wednesdays. In the mornings head over to Baja Beans for coffee, espresso, fresh muffins, scones or tasty breakfast. Also check out the farmers market on Sunday. For great authentic Mexican food check out Rositas or try a carnitas taco from Machines Taco Stand. Its highly recommended you have a Carlitos Place experience. Hands down the best asian-sushi-mex fusion meal in Baja.
Casa Fresh is priced reasonably enough for one person or comfortable enough for two couples to enjoy all that Pescadero has to offer.

We- a couple from Colorado- stayed at the Casa for three nights at the end of July. Overall, our stay was wonderful and just what we were looking for. The house itself is very large and has an abundance of spaces to relax, watch the waves, and listen to all the beautiful birds. The property was clean when we arrived, and had all the basic necessities. The only bummer was that the coffee maker you see in the picture was nowhere to be found, but this was remedied by buying a 10 peso "colador" from the supermarket. Overall the kitchen could use some new utensils and wares, as the years of outdoor storage have left them in pretty rough shape. Our favorite parts of the house were the comfy outdoor sofa under the palapa, the outdoor shower (take a shower and watch the sunset at the same time), sleeping in the upstairs bedroom with the seabreeze keeping us cool, and the complete lack of noise or intrusion from others. For those who are looking to have a super low-key and low-stress time on the beach- fully embracing the beach life- this is the perfect house for you! We were able to walk to the sand in literally 80 steps, and in the middle of the week we barely saw another soul on the entire beach. A 15 minute drive gets you to Cerritos Beach Club, where Sunday was a party atmosphere (a very casual and chilled out one) with live music, families from all over the world, and perfect water for swimming or surfing. Another 20 minute drive gets you to Playa Las Palmas which is a sheltered, cove-type beach with a lush palm grove right behind it. There were only about 15 people there on a Sunday. The house's neighbor, Jimmy, was extremely hospitable and respectful. He was able to offer us surf and kayak rentals for fair prices and even hooked us up with his fresh catch from that day. Overall, if you are a surfer, beach bum, bird lover, or someone looking to really eliminate a lot of "excessive" stressors from your trip to Baja, this house is pretty much the best choice at an amazing value. After having lived and traveled in many places in Latin America, this is one of the best "bang for your buck" places I have encountered.
