'Seas the Day' to frolic on the beach, lounge poolside, or enjoy beautiful evening sunsets as you gaze out over the ocean. Our home is beautifully decorated and outfitted to accommodate one or two families on a relaxing vacation. The wrap-around porches encourage outdoor chats and our screened-in eating area makes for easy meals while enjoying the view.
Our convenient location on Snowy Egret Trail (only one block from BHI Club and across from a beach access) makes it easy to zip back and forth from the cottage for a snack or a nap. Enjoy cooking in our large kitchen with granite countertops while chatting with your family and friends in our open floor plan. Watch your favorite programs on Direct TV or play a game in the living area. The sectional sofa in our living area also opens out for additional bedding.
As you enter the first floor of our home you will find an open floor plan with a living area, dining and kitchen areas, a laundry room and a bedroom with a queen bed and bathroom. Our dining area seats six (add the table leaf and seat eight) with a breakfast bar which accommodates another four. The adjoining outdoor, screened-in porch, can also seat six to enjoy gentle breezes.
The second floor of our home has three more bedrooms and an additional bathroom. You will have some the best views in the house from our master room with a king bed and private balcony. Children will want to stay in our kids' room boasting both bunk beds and another twin bed in a cozy hideaway. Their room is equipped with games, a stereo system, a TV, and DVD/VCR player for more indoor entertainment. The final room has another comfy queen bed with a sliding glass door to it's balcony.
When you head to the beach, either walk across the street or take one of our two golf carts to access other parts of the island. Pack up the cart with our boogie boards and beach toys to spend lots of time on the sand . When you return home, wash off in our convenient outdoor shower and rinse your beach treasures or clean your catch in the large outdoor sink. Some may want to take a walk over to the BHI Club to swim in the pool, play tennis, workout, eat at the Peli's snack bar or have dinner at a fine dining restaurant.
We also provide Wi-Fi so you can 'surf' the web and have four adult and two kids bikes for those who want to bike around the island.

We had a wonderful stay at "Seas the Day." The house was beautifully decorated and in a great location on the island. The owner was very helpful and responded right away to my inquiries. We hope to stay here again in the future. Thanks!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

After almost 10 years of visiting Bald Head Island, our family decided it was time to actually become a part of this amazing community. We hope that sharing our home with other families will give them many wonderful memories, as well.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
A requirement for our family is to always be within view of the ocean. We love that our home allows us to have views, as well as the convenience of beach walks at sunset and casual evenings with friends on the porch. It's also a quick trip to the market should anyone need chocolate syrup for their ice cream and a short walk to the bar at the BHI Club. The location really can't be beat.
