"Lamm's End" truly is "Lands End". Our home (not a condo or townhouse) is located on a quarter acre of the most captivating stretch of Folly Beach. Out front, the ocean. Out back, our new dock, Morris Island Light House, Folly River, Charleston Harbor and the new bridges of Charleston. The architect designed our second row home as a "reverse plan" with the living area on the top floor which affords unique-dual views of the ocean, harbor and river from every room of the house.

"Lamm's End" is decorated in a delightful "Maine Cottage" theme with original artwork. Our decorator also included charming black and white photographs of her family on Folly Beach at the turn of the century.

Numerous porches have plenty of teak and cushioned furniture inviting you and your guests to relax & enjoy all that mother-nature has to offer.

This is a turn-key, pampered vacation. Our guests only bring along personal items and food. Think of it as visiting a friend's beach house which is what many of our return guests become. Creative cooks are not disappointed. The granite kitchen is well equipped with appropriate pots, pans, oils, spices and gadgets.
High speed internet available as well as proper IPOD connections to enjoy your own music collection. All bedrooms equipped with cable TV/DVD.

Commitment to the relaxation & comfort of our guests combines with amazing visual access to Folly's natural surroundings. Enjoy the sights, sounds and ambiance of the ocean sipping your morning coffee rocking on the front porch--- and for the early birds watching the sunrise. At the end of the day, stretch out and relax on the back porch club with your favorite beverage and enjoy the hot pink, setting sun over the Folly River.

Our guests return year after year. We've been told they do because they love the completely, laid back environment of Folly Beach and can always count on a spotlessly clean home and the consistently high level of guest service we and our housekeeping team provide.

Due to the comfort and health of our family and guests. We have a STRICT non-smoking policy anywhere on the premises. NO house parties or weddings permitted under ANY circumstances. The address of "Lamm's End" is 1656 East Ashley Avenue.

One well-behaved, extremely well-groomed, house broken (preferably small) dog is welcome but only upon Beth's express approval. We and our housekeeper expect the house will be kept exactly as you found it with no evidence inside or outside the house. Please don't hesitate to call Beth with questions about this.

The house very much lives up to expectations; it is beautiful, clean, and modern, and the views are fantastic. Folly and Charleston also are a true pleasure. Finally, it was a joy to interact with both Beth Lamm (owner) and Shea Onofrey (concierge). We highly recommended this property.

We had perfect weather, but even rainy days are mastered when you're staying at such a comfortable home! Beth's attention to detail cannot be matched, and we just had a wonderful week. Folly is our favorite beach town and we will continue to live it up at Lamm's End for (we hope) many birthdays to come!

  • This was a very comfortable, convenient house (maybe a problem for mobility-impaired guests, since the entrance is up two flights of stairs). Everything works, including the high-speed (ethernet) internet connection (you may need to reboot the modem periodically). Twenty minutes to Charleston, thirty to the airport (a little more in evening rush hour). You can hear the ocean, and see it past the houses on the other side of the street. The beach is gorgeous, clean (the tide sweeps it every day) and firm. The tidal marsh in the back is a real plus, especially for birders. And it's a pleasure dealing with Beth.

  • Our family stayed at this wonderful house in March of 2007. We were a bit nervous before we left, as we simply went by the computer reviews, but everything was exactly as described. The beds are very comfortable, the house was spotless, and the location was terrific; Beth Lamm was wonderful. We are looking forward to returning, and I recommend this vacation spot without hesitation!

  • Very nice place, quiet and complete. Beth has thought of everything. Views are great. Convenient location to combine beach and city vacation. Short walk to beach access. Pleasant time!
