Lovely lake home on an 800 acre lake with Bass, Walleye, Crappies, pan fish, and Northerns. Nice swimming, although expect some weeds in July and August. Enjoy beautiful sunsets. Relax in a hammock reading a book. Grill your catch of the day on a nice shaded deck. Look for shooting stars and satellites around the campfire at night. Snuggle up in a comfy chair in a knotty pine living room to chat, read or take a delightful nap. Even let the chipmunks eat out of your hand on the deck.
Three bedrooms with queen size beds. There is a single sleeper sofa in the living room. Room for 2-3 sleeping bags and air mattresses on the porch. This lake home was built in 1985 so it is modern construction.
No pets allowed.
Guests are asked remove sheets from beds and put in pillow cases to be washed.

We spent a week here and had a blast! With three kids in high school or college we found so much to do. When we arrived Paul and Deb made us feel like we were old family friends and made it very comfortable. The cabin was perfect! You could roast marshmallows and hot dogs by the fire, stay inside after a long day, or go out to the famous Rafferty's Pizza in Brainered. We'd done it all! Fishing was great! My daughter caught a Northern right off the dock! Somehow spent more time doing that than tubing and skiing which is very unusual. This vacation was most definitively one to remember. Would go back in a heartbeat! It was a major plus that your puppy could come as well!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, pet owners.

We loved this little cabin! We had everything we needed there and if we didn't we were only 15 minutes away from Brainerd. Everyone enjoyed feeding the chipmunks, the kids had a blast. It was really nice having a full kitchen and laundry. We really loved having our own access to the lake, with our own dock we were able to fish and we even rented a pontoon one day and were able to pull up back home whenever we wanted. As an added bonus the weather was perfect the whole time. This cabin was a great value for the money, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a little secluded spot on the lake!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our family had a fantastic week at this terrific property. Paul was very accommodating to my questions as we arranged the trip and very friendly and helpful to us upon arrival. The neighbors were very nice and welcoming also. This cabin is very comfortable and extremely well cared for. It is clear that Paul and Deb have spent much time and energy (and TLC) making this a wonderful lakeside retreat and our family enjoyed every minute. The cabin is super clean, the bedrooms are roomy and very comfortable, the kitchen is terrifically equipped, and the living room and porch are both wonderful places to relax after a long day of playing on the lake, shopping in town, golfing nearby, or taking in the many fun things to do in the area. The location is great -- you can run into town easily or avoid it completely and we did both. The yard is beautiful and provides plenty of space for outdoor fun. I would highly recommend this property to any family looking to have a great get-away. We stayed in the summer but I bet it is great year round. As we were leaving, my son stopped, and went back in, saying he wanted just one more look around so he could really remember all the good times we'd had this week. What a terrific spot!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: Paul fell in love with this lot in 1979. Over the next six years he lovingly built this cabin. It is a beautiful place to relax, read, enjoy a sunset, watch the birds, and enjoy being with family.

This is a lake home that is in a quiet area and away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, yet only 1o minutes from The Brainerd shopping area. The cabin is on a level lot under the pines, yet has an open play area between the lake and cabin so you can easily watch the children or grandchildren play.
