This light-filled deck house on Menemsha Hill is a great retreat for family and friends. Set on private, partially wooded 3.8 acre lot at the end of Menemsha Inn Road, you will be in a secluded setting where you can enjoy the views, wildlife and the sounds of waves and the bell buoy. Comfortable furnishings and a spacious deck with views of Menemsha Bight make this the perfect place to enjoy peaceful country mornings and glorious sunsets. There's a large lawn where kids of all ages can play croquet, throw a frisbee or take a ride on the zip line.
You will be one mile from Menemsha Hills Reservation and a 15-minute walk down the hill to the village of Menemsha, where you can grab a lobster dinner to go, dine in style, or stroll around the docks and the public beach. Passes to Lucy Vincent Beach and Squibnocket Beach are available to our tenants. Snuggle up by the wood-burning fireplace on cool spring or fall nights. The house is close to Menemsha's popular wedding venues.
An open floor plan and cathedral ceilings create a feeling of spaciousness. The kitchen, dining room and living room are upstairs, where there are also two bedrooms with queen beds (one with its own private deck with water views) and a full bath. Downstairs has three bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with two single beds, bath, laundry, and TV room. There is an outdoor shower for the ideal end to a day at the beach.
The house is nicely equipped, including all appliances, a flat screen TV (with satellite dish), Blu-ray disc player, compact stereo, gas grill and hi-speed wireless Internet.
