This is a lovely, modern, large, comfortable home on a large lot in the small town of Empire. Fenced in back yard with deck, and screened-in front porch.Hardwood floors in kitchen dining room and living room, Berber carpet bedrooms.1 full bath downstairs 1 full bath upstairs, 2 bedrooms with a queen bed each, 1 bedroom with a double bed , 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds. Pretty views out many windows. No smoking no pets
Very friendly, beautiful area surrounded by Sleeping Bear National Park.A beautiful village park and beach's on lake Michigan and North Barr lake just down the street in easy walking distance of about a block. Many miles of scenic hiking trails. Many local artists. Fine dining and local pubs.Incredible look out's at Pierce Stocking, over looking Glenn lake the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and lake Michigan

We have stayed at this home for the past 10 years, and for us it defines relaxation. The location is ideal, with a short walk to the beach and playground, and a shorter walk to the grocery and ice cream store. We love the big open kitchen, dining room, and family room, all with brightly colored walls. Mike and Heather always have the house in great shape when we arrive. The kitchen has all of the pots, pans, and utensils we need. The fenced in and shaded back yard is perfect for young kids, and for kicking back and barbecuing on the charcoal grill. The open lot next to the house is great for running around, playing frisbee or football. We consider this our home away from home and we look forward to coming back every year.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
