The cozy A frame home is nestled on a 1 acre lot and has heart of pine tong and groove walls, gourmet kitchen with stainless steel: gas stove, microwave oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, 1 bedroom with pull out queen couch sleeping 2, living room with 2-story ceiling, gas fireplace, pull out queen couch sleeping 2, upstairs bedroom, back deck with amazing view of the lake.
In addition to the house there is a detached 1 Room Cottage with full kitchen, flat top stove, refrigerator, 1 bath, 2 Queen Sleeper couches, electric fireplace. Laundry room with washer and dryer serving both buildings.
There are also 2 storage buildings.
(The boat dock does NOT reach all the way to the water at this time due to the low water level)
Clarks Hill / Strom Thurmond Lake, it is a 70,0000 acre lake with approximately 1,200 miles of shoreline and offering fishing, recreation and special events for the entire family. It is the home of the National Disc Golf Association, and offers some amazing bass, striper & hybrid fishing, with mega boat ramps, BMX trails, large picnic pavilions, horse back riding trails, sailing, swimming, and sandy beaches.
If you are interested in an amateur bass tournament, professional fishing tournament, swimming, skiing, on one ski or two, or sailing, you will find it all here at Clarks Hill Lake.

Why the Owner Chose Appling:
Drew and I have a busy schedule so when we have some time for ourselves, we love the peaceful setting, away from the hustle and bustle. The lake house is a place where you can get back in touch with nature, recharge the batteries. Drew is a great angler and I LOVE watching him reel in the big catch. Our kids love to go tubing and jet skiing. It's a place where the entire family gets together to have fun and enjoy each other's company.

Our tastefully furnished lake cottage is so cozy. It has windows all across the back, and there is nothing obstructing the amazing view. It's only 15 minutes from Evans for convenient shopping.
