As you spread out on your own waterfront deck nestled off the coast of Delaware Bay, you'll feel like you are staying along the shores of the best kept secret of of Cape May County, NJ. Here you can do it all, or nothing at all, as you settle into this unique beachfront community along the sandy bay shore.
Take a walk on the beach for miles at low tide, or when the tide comes in, try your luck at catching one of the 17 varieties of fish pulled in off our deck in the last few years. Ease into the hammock chair on the deck and experience the serenity of a world far away from home, yet only a short ride to the busy beaches and night life of great Jersey shore restaurants, boardwalk and amusements.
Enjoy your morning coffee by the sound of the lapping water or end the day viewing a stunning panoramic sunset that stretches as far as the eye can see. Designed with a family or group in mind, the interior of our vacation house maximizes meeting spaces for good conversation or a memorable meal. These are the things that we recall when we think fondly of shore vacations.
Our home is the perfect spot for a memorable vacation of family fun, or a romantic getaway. This great shore house, which was completely renovated recently, invites comfort with our one floor living.
We have four bedrooms and two baths, including a full, petite bath adjoining the master bedroom for added privacy. The four bedroom residence has two bedrooms with double beds, One with a comfy daybed that becomes a kingsized bed (two single sheets needed), and a fourth bedroom with two single beds. Several bedrooms have a TV, for times when you just want to relax privately.
Catch a nap, play a game, or savor a drink and some lively conversation while enjoying the bay breezes in our sun porch. Make reservations at any of a variety of nearby reastaurants, or, whip up a home-cooked feast while watching a fabulous sunset. Our kitchen is equipped with pots and pans for everything from clams and corn on the cob to omelets, with an island for preparing and serving. Eat under the umbrella at one of two outdoor tables on the large 40 foot deck or retreat to the ac indoors and dine at our ample dining table.

What a wonderful property! My family & I could have stayed here forever. The house was beautiful, clean and well-appointed, and, the owners were extremely accommodating. And the location, right on the bay, was to die for. The most magnificent sunsets we have ever seen! We are very hopeful that we'll be lucky enough to come back again next May, and the next May and the next May.... Thanks you so much, Dave and Monica! Please give our regards to Jim & Paul; they treated us like family. We left them a small gift on their rear deck. :) Jim & LuannRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

About the owner: We are a family that has loved visiting the shore for many years. Our children's children now join us for great family weekends or the ultimate in large family holiday parties. We love all the things that the shore can offer from quiet solitude, beach going, fishing, fine and casual dining, to busy nightlife or an afternoon of antiquing or a great party on the deck. A long walk for miles along the southern beach at low tide gives us the rare opportunity of feeling that you just stepped onto an untarnished beach for the first time. We also enjoy visiting nearby towns and beaches and returning to the sanctuary of our deck at evening for a cold one and some lively conversation at sunset.
Why the Owner Chose Reeds Beach:
This location offered the rare combination of the quiet, rustic setting of the Jersey shore now gone, with close proximity to the hustle,bustle and fun of popular resorts, amusement, and shopping that we have enjoyed for many years. We are former owners of a beachfront condo in a well-known resort area. Condo living offered little privacy and the summer seasons there brought an influx of traffic, parking challenges and plenty of noise.

With plenty of off street parking, our cozy, comfortable home has a bedroom for everyone and a huge deck with plenty of deck furniture, including a chaise lounge and two umbrellas for all to enjoy the sights and sounds of the bay.
