  Our second stay has been just as perfect as the first- maybe even better because of the arrival of our latest grandchild. We called the owner as our daughter-in-law began labor in the hospital just down the street. In less than 24 hours, we flew into JAX, the owner prepared the cottage, met us to get us settled in, and headed us to the hospital- all before the baby was born! Now that's called exceptional service! The weather wasn't as cooperative as during out first visit- so the cottage became a wonderful haven to care for the older grandchild. Plenty of room inside, fun on the covered porch, and when the rain stopped, we enjoyed the park and beach that can be seen from the porch. We keep this owner at the top of our contact list!

  We rented this charming bungalow for Spring Break with my wife and son and though the weather wasn't cooperative, the home was certainly a throw-back to a time gone by in a very good way. The owners were thoughtful and the amenities were excellent. With a large back yard patio, fire pit, and tiki bar, you have everything in place for a great family vacation. The street was quiet and you were only a half-block away from the beach (I swear I could hear the waves at night). Several fine dining establishments within walking distance. I'd come back again in a heartbeat. Thanks Jean!

  This cottage, just steps away from the beach front, is a refreshing and comfortable place for a family to vacation. The house is well stocked, clean and roomy. It has a delightful covered front porch, and an amazing patio that is great for family cookouts and gatherings. The owners are very nice and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will consider it for next year's family vacation spot!

  We had a wonderful weekend at this peaceful cottage near the beach. There was plenty to do at the cottage itself, with a tiki bar, lounge chairs, and firepit. What made it extra special was the locaction, which is walking distance to the beach and to shops and restaurants. We also spent time relaxing on the front porch after an afternoon on the beach. Perfect! We live in Jacksonville, so this is a nice mini getaway for any locals. Owner is very helpful and provides everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The place is clean, and has been beautifully renovated and maintained. We definitely want to go back!

  I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The description on vrbo.com met everything to a "T" and more. So close to the beautiful (uncrowded) beach, great food, shopping and nearly anything you want to do for your vacation. I loved that my boyfriend and I were able to watch the sunset a couple times after a very short walk to the beach. It was a nice quiet neighborhood and the yard and tiki bar were things we very much enjoyed. The house is clean, nicely updated and even bigger than expected. We easily slept 5, but there was room for at least 8. We cooked many meals and were easily able to do so with all the appliances and tools available. The beds were comfortable and clean. And most of all the owner was amazing to work with. She was very helpful with recommendations around town and even out of state, in my case! I don't think things could have went smoother. I would very highly recommend staying here and hope to be back soon! Thank you so much!

  this place is a little slice of heaven quiet close to beach and shopping and has a charm all its own clean and comfortable just like home it made our vacation better then it ever was before and oweners are so nice and friendly

  Wonderful, safe location. beach is few steps away. Great place to stay, very roomy with many amenities, beach towels, chairs, beach toys. Would definitely stay here again. Owner was available if we had questions or concerns. Very accommodating.

  Great place to stay and close to the beach and restaurants. We walked to the beach, to restaurants, hung out on the porch, and made a fire in the backyard. We slept six guys there but you could easily sleep 7-8. Very helpful owner and local so she could help with any issues but we had none. Only wish the weather would have been better.

  My family and I had planned to use this cottage only as a place to sleep while in Jacksonville for a family reunion- that is, until we arrived. Family and friends came to us instead of us going to them. All generations enjoyed the close beach access and cottage with tons of room inside and outside. The cottage is gorgeously decorated and has a wonderful layout. Adults can relax in the large living room or outdoors in the very large backyard. Cooking and dining at one end of cottage worked well as the baby slept at the other end. The weather was great, but what if it had rained? Covered front porch, of course. Easy access to JTB and Beach Blvd was a plus. The owner was extremely helpful, efficient and gracious. Our stay was even better than expected because we had a lovely place to stay! This cottage is now the rental that family and friends who live locally plan to use when visitors come to town.
