Great location for exploring the lower part of Manhattan. Myself, daughter son and niece all in their twenties spent 7 days. The apartment meet all our needs. It was within easy walking distance to two subway stations. The Lower East Side has lots to offer in the way of small restaurants, bars, clubs and galleries. The Tenement Museum is a must visit for anyone interested in architecture and/or early immigrant life in Manhattan. Mike/Leo were easy to get a hold of either by phone or e-mail and always responded quickly to any queriesRecommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+.

Good location. Pictures accurately depict this property. Everything you could want is in this clean and comfortable apartment. And having coffee and wine waiting was awesome! Who could ask for more!!! Close to subway and buses, restaurants and groceries. Easily accommodated our group of 4 ladies, ages late 30's to mid 60's. We not only recommend this property, but we would stay here again. Thanks for a great New York experience!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

This appartment is in a very good location. Google street view and local maps don't really give a sense that it is in walking distance of several subway stations with very good connections. Despite this the street is quiet and has a resedential feel and the appartment is facing other buildings -but not to near- and therefore has very little street noise. This and the comfy bedding make for a good nights sleep. This appartment is bright and very clean. The washer dryer in the basment is an excellent standard and everything in the kitchen is well maintained. We spent a lot of time in the littly italy/spring street/Soho areas where the choice of quality restaurants is excellent. We were happy with the resolution of any problems and Mike and Leo were quick to revert and sort out issues. Would highly recommend and would stay again Mary and IvanDid you find this review helpful? Place was very clean and bright. Was well setup with TVs, kitchen,bathroom and wireless which was great to use with our laptop to google places and make online rest. reservations. Location is great, quiet and just of the beaten trail and so close to busses, subway and tons of restaurants. Very professional owners. We were at a wedding, and of many many couples, we agreed we had by far the best place! Would stay again for sure! Thanks for a great time and place to stay. Description of property was accurate regarding location and amenities. Apartment is located in quite new building with access to the rooftop. The owner was very nice and helpful answering all our questions. Property isn't quite excessive, but very clean, comfortable, well-equipped and well-maintained. We would recommend this appartment to our friends, but have to worn those with high expectations - although for us it wasn't the problem at all - there is no window in livingroom - but you can find huge windows in both of bedrooms:-) Location is great advantage - LES is going through gentrification process, so neighborhood is really very interesting - there are many of art galleries, fancy restaurants, nightclubs, shops, etc. The neighborhood is also very safe. We can recommend many places around we have visited, as: Schiller's Liquor Bar, Cheeky Sandwiches, Sauce restaurant, bar in Hotel On Rivington, Pulino's restaurant, Saxon+Parole restaurant, DBGB Kitchen & Bar, Katz's Deli, and many more... You have to visit New Museum on Bowery st., walk along Orchard Street, with LES Tenement Museum, where you can learn many facts about history of neighborhood. We stayed in the unit from the 12th to 22nd of April 2012. We found the unit very cosy. Its location is great a few blocks from Soho and also close to East Village. Loads of restaurants/cafe's around and close to some supermarkets. East to find, good for taxi's and subway(3 lines). Only a small two bedder but that did not worry us because we were out and about. We found the manager very easy to contact. It was the first time we had stayed in a unit in New York and we had a very enjoyable time. Stayed in the apartment for my most recent business trip to Manhattan. The various subway stations were all close by so we could get around lower Manhattan easily. The apartment is well located (there are lots of places to visit around like Little Italy, Soho...) and you can also walk to the nearest subway station. The property was very clean and comfortable and the owner was really nice and helpful. The apartment is new, clean and well maintained. I missed a table (there is only a cofee table). It was originally a one bedroom apartment converted into a two bedroom apartment, so the second room is rather small and the living room has no window. The neighbourhood is OK. It is within walking distance of Chinatown and Little Italy, and there are pletny of restaurants and shops nearbye. There are many subway stations nearby. This apartment was perfect in every way! Stayed here with 4 other girls recently for a girls getaway in NYC. We are all very picky and everything about it exceeded our expectations. The apartment is super clean and had everything we needed... TV, Wifi, kitchen supplies, plenty of mirrors for us girls to share and get ready. Very comfortable beds + very quiet apartment = great night sleep! The best part is that it's in an awesome location... very close to the subway, tons of great restaurants and bars within walking distance...and amazing shopping in Soho! Couldn't have asked for a better apartment for our girls weekend. We can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.
