The Fun House is located in the award-winning Beachwalk Resort. This spacious custom-built family home has all the ingredients of a peaceful year-round getaway. Four bedrooms, pull-out sofas, and three full bathrooms provide enough space for a large family, or friends and families vacationing together.
The Fun House second floor has two full bathrooms and three large bedrooms including a king size master bedroom with jetted tub and steam shower, and an upstairs TV/sitting room with pull-out sofa. The bedroom on the first floor has an attached bathroom and opens onto the brick patio.
The main floor living space is very open with extra long breakfast bar, eating area and living room with fireplace all in one great room. Imagine cooking, eating, entertaining, relaxing and playing board games without missing any conversation! A screened-in porch off the living room is a perfect place to enjoy a good book or chat.
While the kids are playing in the sandbox you can relax on the front porch and listen to the sounds of the water fountain across the street! Shower off after a day at the beach on the attached brick patio and enjoy your bbq on the patio or garage roof-top deck.
You will enjoy the Beachwalk Resort community atmosphere where activities abound, including an inground pool, putting green, tennis, basketball, sand volleyball, green grass park, playground, inland Lake Kai, and fishing pier all right outside your door.
The Fun House and neighborhood are kid-friendly; we're across the street from the green grass park - play baseball, toss a football, have a picnic! Take a scenic walk down Beachwalk Lane and take in all the different colored houses with the white picket fences! It's like something off a postcard! Make your way down the old-fashioned wooden Boardwalk to Lake Michigan's most pristine beach.
The beautiful beaches of Sheridan Beach on Lake Michigan are a short stroll away; an uncrowded and clean beach where you can frolic in the sand and sun while enjoying swimming, sandcastle building, jet skiing, windsurfing, boating, fishing, sailing, as well as a number of other activities.
So pack up the family, beach towels, and grocery list and head to your favorite vacation destination! Take relaxing walks in the neighborhood or to the beach, fish on the pier, enjoy the sun, surf and sand, catch up on some reading! Don't forget to bring the bikes, blades, and scooters!
Other attractions in the area include Washington Park Zoo,The Blue Chip Casino, Prime Outlets/Lighthouse Mall, Washington Park (a 90-acre public park),the Old Lighthouse Museum (former lighthouse of Michigan City erected early 19th century),a host of fine area restaurants, antique hunting and close proximity to Harbor Country.
The Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore boasts over 8500 acres of lakeshore, bogs, forests, and enormous sand dunes. Activities there include swimming, fishing, hiking, picnicking, horseback riding, and cross-country skiing.

We have been vacationing in Beachwalk for the past 9 years and finally purchased a place of our own. The Fun House will be used primarily for our enjoyment with family and friends, but we will rent it for 3-4 weeks during the summer. We love the family community in Beachwalk. The kids can safely ride their bikes, play soccer in the park, go to the pool or playground. Everything is so close to our home. it is the perfect family get-away!

We had a wonderful time. Your house is just great, and we loved the beach towels and wine. The house and garage are so well stocked with things for kids of all ages. This is a very special place and we hope to be back.

This is our 4th trip to Beachwalk and we can't believe how awesome your house is. The kids loved playing ping pong and foosball in the basement. Thanks for having cable and wireless internet. We will definitely be back to Beachwalk and can't imagine renting any other house!
