Just steps away from the wonderful, sugary beaches of South Walton where it's always 'sunny, 72degrees with a slight breeze'. Three deeded beach access available to guests. Walkability factor is high here.
The townhouse is spacious and fully equipped decorated with the theme of sand and sea. It is contemporary and exudes warmth. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and outdoor living available both out the front and back screened porch. The open floor plan and high ceilings beckon a gathering for friends and family. The kitchen is user friendly with cherry cabinets and granite countertops and a very useful breakfast bar.
The Gulf Place community just keeps getting better with a huge greenspace that hosts festivals i.e. canine carnival, crawfish festival, singer songwriters festival, etc and free concerts during the summer where kids can romp while parents sit on blankets or chairs to listen to emerging and current musicians.
Gulf Place is the home of a number of diverse and reknown restaurants. Fire has recently relocated there as well as The Naked Grape wine bar. Great food and live music are usually as good as the menu. Long time favorites Smiling Fish and Miss Lucille's Gossip Parlor featuring coffee and ice cream along with Amore Pizza and Beach Bums insure you don't need to leave your place to enjoy a good dining experience either indoors or outside.
If shopping is your thing, there are many independently owned boutiques and specialty stores for browsing or purchasing. And the Artists at Gulf Place have something for everyone in their colorful shacks to include furniture, whimsical art with a local flavor.
Run, do not walk, to enjoy the ambiance of Santa Rosa Beach and the wonderful hominess of this comfortable, tasteful space.

This place was just perfect, ideal for what we wanted, not to mention charming, cozy and spacious all at the same time! We've been through Seaside and some other spots down the road and were completely turned off by the crowds and the pretensions, not to mention the prices, and we've stayed at Grayton Beach which was fun but perhaps a bit too quiet. Gulf Place is the perfect medium, and this unit especially because it's so nicely kept and nuzzled in such a nice, quiet corner of this sweet little beach-side, family-oriented community. Great for kids, but very relaxing and private when you want it. Plenty of action at arms length, but without the crowds. The unit is in the Courtyard, the more upscale section of Gulf Place, and has a gated pool considerably nicer than the communal ones on campus, but with comparable pricing. Really can't be beat. We've had some exchanges with the owner over specifics to our trip, and found her to be gracious and accommodating and helpful, without being at all intrusive. A very nice experience all around and we'd definitely be interested in coming back. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We love Santa Rosa Beach and this wonderful town home. Not only is it perfectly situated - near restaurants, cool shops, steps from the pool and beach, but it has a beautiful, serene, cool, comfy and inviting beach motif decor. You will feel like you are on vacation the minute you walk in the door!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We stayed at Sunny Daze during our first ever trip to the Panhandle Coast. The location was just great for us. It was just west of the busy hustle and bustle of the large resorts on 30A, but when we were in the mood for more "action", it was just 10 minutes or so east of us. Gulf Place has great amenities within a 5 minute walk from the unit....coffee, food, wine bar, ice cream, pharmacy, shopping, etc. The condo has all of the amenities of home, and is in a very quiet area of Gulf Place. A 5 minute walk also gets you to the beach! The unit was comfortable and cozy, with plenty of room for 6 people. A great area that we look forward to visiting again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

About the owner: We have both recently retired, but, previously both owned our own businesses. I was a distributor for a food product and my husband had a tennis specialty shop. I was previously a teacher and a stay at home mom. We enjoy travel, reading, biking, gardening and tuning in to current events.
Why the Owner Chose Gulf Place Courtyard:
We had been coming to this area with our children for 20+ years usually staying at a tennis resort. When we decided to purchase, we were lured to 30A and the quaintness, low key style and of course the beach. We have never looked back..
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
We are every bit as comfortable in this home as we our in our primary residence. It was decorated to feel like a welcomed retreat and we feel that way every time we arrive. We can just chill, or be as active as we wish. Life feels simplified and we go into a slower gear.
