If you are looking for a vacation of total relaxation, then go to the little yellow house in Grand Cayman. Located on the east side of the island, you are just far enough away from all the hustle and bustle to relax but close enough to take a short drive to it on your own terms. Loved the house! Really nice. Awesome private pool. So nice to sit in a lounger and have your morning coffee and listen to the birds. I totally recommend this place and will visit again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed at the Yellow House the first week in April (2013) with our two boys (7 and 9). We had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it (as long as you don't reserve the week we will want next year! :)). As others have commented, the house is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and has everything you would need. We particularly enjoyed the privacy at the pool that is shared with the house next door. Although there were people there (the owners?), they never used the pool and we essentially had the pool to ourselves. This was a wonderful, relaxing respite in the morning or the end of the day. There is also a nice gazebo with a table and chairs, so you can eat outside by the pool. The location definitely worked for us - away from the craziness, but close enough to go to Seven Mile Beach (40 min), if desired. It was only ~ 20 min to Rum Point and 10-ish minutes to The Morritts beach area. Slightly less to East End dive shops, Bodden Town, etc. The owners give great recommendations for restaurants so you can get some more affordable local food. The house was well equipped with beach chairs, umbrella, and a cooler to take on day trips to various beaches (you will need to go to other beaches) and it worked really well. Attractions that we particularly recommend: sunrise trip to Sting Ray City (White Sands Water sports - goes before all other boats - no crowds!), Rum Point during the week, Cemetery Beach, Cayman Style Lobster at Over the Edge, The Italian Kitchen near the Reef/Morritz, snorkeling under the Morrits dock, Blue Iguana tour at the Queen's Botanical Gardent. If comfort, quiet, and privacy are important to you, this is your place!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We loved it, stayed at the Yellow house February 2013. It was like coming home each nite. Very comfortable & quiet. Went to the Lighthouse one nite, sorry to say but we would not go back again, found them very pushy. Loved Kurt's Korner - Best food we had and a good price. The 20 minute drive to Rum Point is worth it & going out to Stingray City is excellent. We were 10 minutes away from Ocean Frontiers Divers, which was a very 1st Class Operation for any of you divers. Totally enjoyed the pool & gazebo and we also enjoyed seeing the blue iguana in the trees by the pool. Need to rent a car, as you are out by yourself, but only 10 minutes away from any amenities. This was a wonderful vacation for our family. It was just as pictured and described. We were not disappointed. We were happy that we chose the little yellow house as opposed to staying in the more touristy area of Grand Cayman. We got to see so much more. The owner was very helpful providing maps and information of the islands best restaurants, sights to see and snorkeling spots. Without this, we would not have experienced the "real" Cayman! The house is beautiful and a great place to come home to, after spending the day snorkeling or sightseeing. Everything you could possibly want or need is provided. We were able to grill out a couple of nights, after a full day snorkeling at the beach and swim in the private pool. We could not have asked for more! You will not be disappointed, if you are looking for a relaxing vacation and beautiful place to stay! We hope to return sooner than later! We will definitely go back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

i would highly recommend the yellow house in GC to anyone looking for a very nice place to stay. Especially if you enjoy privacy and relaxation. Over all the property, house pool area was very nice, modern well kept and in great shape. We had everything we needed at the house and more. The pool area was very private we had parrots visit the papaya tress several days, our boy loved chasing the lizards during the day and the frogs at night. Great location for us as we prefer to be away from the busy touristy areas. However a short drive away we were able to get to grocery, restaurants and many of the great beaches. owner of the property was great, provided great recommendations of local do's and don't, very easy to work with in all parts of the rental. We would and most likely will return as soon as we can. Cayman is friendly, safe and all around an awesome place. We wont wait 15yrs to go back and to yellow house if we can. Do it and you'll have a blast.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

the yellow house in sea crest was great! nice photos but even better in person! a 'home away from home' the decorating inside and the pool/landscaping outside is like a postcard. very comfortable. awesome. our family had a great vacation on the island.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

WE ORIGINALLY PURCHASED THIS HOME AS OUR PRIVATE VACATION HOME BUT AS THE BOYS ARE GETTING OLDER AND HAVE DEMANDING HOCKEY AND SCHOOL SCHEDULES, IT IS GETTING HARDER TO GET TO OUR LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE ARE RENTING OUR HOME. IT IS PRESTINE AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! UPON BOOKING WE WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH MAPS, RESTAURANT AND ACTIVITY GUIDES.
