We have been staying on the Island for several years. We always stayed in the same house. But as the family grew older, we needed a little more room and a better place for our boat. The house is furnished well. VERY clean.All the things you need for that home away from home experience. Very nice area under the house. Great fish cleaning station. Wish the boat lift would have worked. One issue was that some of the boaters would "run" outside of the no wake boundries/markers at full speed. This caused our boat to be beat severely against the dock. However, this had nothing to do with the house or the owners. And it did provide comic relief watching people who would do this run a ground. Of course no one was injured, so nothing more than someone's ego was hurt. We were able to see the fire works display from our boat right down from the house on July 4th. All in all, great trip. So much so, we just reserved the house again for this summer.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers.
