Nice Place for Family Get Together
Nice Place for Family Get Together

We stayed at Dragonfly Hill over Thanksgiving. It was plenty big for 10 people and it had a very nice kitchen for cooking Thanksgiving Dinner. The home was clean, well-maintained and well-stocked. It is a beautiful location with views of Ashland in the distance, although its only a ten minute drive to downtown. We spotted tons of wildlife just wandering by the house, even some deer laying down, resting in the yard. Our only disappointment was that there was no cable/satellite for watching football on Thanksgiving which we didn't realize from the ad, and that would be our only hesitation in recommending the place, but overall, a nice value for a large group.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a beautiful home with an equally impressive view. The photos don't do justice to all the nice touches. The property was extremely clean, well maintained and stocked with anything you would need in a vacaiton home. I highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again in the future. It's also less than a ten-minute drive from the Ashland Plaza.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

The house is beautiful and very comfortable. Great for families get-aways. It's located in a hilltop with great view and surrounded by nature, yet has easy access to town and recreational places. Host is very generous with abundant supplies and considerate little surprises. One of the best houses we vacationed in and will definetely rent again when we re-visit Ashland.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

The house was absolutely perfect for our stay. Rain on Saturday made us move the crowd of 50 indoors and the house accommodated the change with ease. Everyone enjoyed the comfortable setting that facilitate the great discussion that makes a family reunion such a great event. On Sunday the weather improved and we were able to return to the patio for the 30 members of our 2nd day reunion. Thanks to Ray and Donna for the use of their great house and their assistance in making this a wonderful event for our family. Dean and PamRecommended for: Age 55+.
Owner response: You are so welcome! We were happy to be able to help in making your family reunion time a successfull and joyous event despite the weather !!

The house is BEAUTIFUL!!! Every side of the deck user friendly and fantastic views. The kitchen is great to work in and the patio very comfortable for entertaining, nicely shaded and nice breeze. Enjoyed all the 'up close and personal' bird feeders, jack rabbits and 3-point buck that shared the yard with us. It is very close to town yet seems miles away in your own private retreat. Thank you so much for having us and making our SOU graduation weekend perfect.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

An excellent spot to break the winter season at home (Alaska) and enjoy some good weather, greener pastures, and different wildlife and birds. The house is warm, friendly, and relaxing. It is so nice to spend time on the covered decks enjoying the sunshine and views during the day and sunsets, starlight, and Ashland lights at night. Also love visiting Lithia Park and ejoying the culinary offerings and shops of Ashland itself. We would definitely recomend this place and plan to stay here again in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Beautiful home with great facilities and location that is just close enough to town to be an easy drive to plays and restaurants, but far enough away to provide space and privacy. Close to Emigrant Lake which is nice for swimming with the kids and/or boating. Owners are long-time Ashland residents so they seem to know the area very well, and are helpful in suggesting places to visit and restaurants to try. It was so relaxing just to sit on the wraparound porch with a glass of wine and enjoy the views.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children.
