What a find! Totally cool one bedroom, one bath apartment right where many of L.A.'s young professionals and hipsters live, work and play. A charming, vintage, Spanish style building - so much a part of L.A.'s architectural heritage - on a lovely, sunny, tree lined street. With a queen bed in the master and a pull out sofa in the living room, this apartment sleeps four, comfortably. Enter through a charming front courtyard patio with fountain, original Spanish tiles, wrought iron décor and seating area. The building front door is security gated. As you enter your apartment, you will find dark satin finished hardwood floors, high ceilings with original molding, art deco sconces, and high gloss, dark wood doors and trim, accenting the white walls.
The 'eat-in' kitchen has been remodeled with new countertops and stainless steel appliances, including gas stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator, yet it retains the charm of the original cabinetry. Off the kitchen is the living room, with several tall French windows with floor to ceiling sheer drapes. AT&T U-verse HDTV with many channels and internet as well as phone service is provided. Walk through the archway to the hall corridor which includes a large walk in closet with a stacked washer/dryer and plenty of built in linen cabinets. The remodeled bathroom retains the charm of the original art deco tile and vanity mirror. It includes a tub and a separate, glass door shower. The master bedroom also has a large walk in closet and the apartment enjoys central heat and air.
Grab some coffee, pastries and lunch to go at the original La Brea Bakery to enjoy on the sunny, quiet front courtyard, or eat in at longtime culinary favorite, chef Mark Peel's Campanile. Walk to yoga, antique stores, clothing stores for the urban set, restaurants, Trader Joe's, and wind down the day at 3Twenty Wine Lounge.
You're just minutes away from the nightclubs on Sunset Boulevard, great shopping and dining along 3rd Street, and The Original Farmer's Market; home to culinary foods from around the world and a longtime hub of the young professional and showbiz crowd. Next door to the Farmer's Market is the Grove Mall, where NBC's “Extra” broadcasts nightly. It's outdoor plaza includes restaurants, movie theaters, Apple, Nordstrom’s, Abercrombie, Ugg and many other name brands. The Los Angeles County Museum Of Art is also blocks away, along L.A.'s Miracle Mile.

Parking was a problem in the evening- which was very stressful. Besides the parking problem, the property was really very nice, clean, and quiet. I would recommend to a friend. The neighbours were very nice, The apartment layout was great because the bedroom is set off to the side, distanced enough to give privacy. You can walk to Trader Joe's Ralph's frozen yogurt place, etc. The Grove is about a mile away.

Feel like a resident in LA
With its nice furniture, decoration and really everything in the kitchen, this property makes you feel like at home. It's quiet and located near grocery srores and the Grove. Only thing that was a bit hard was finding a parking space at a certain time at night. Once again the guest service and operations manager Suzanne was very helpful.
