This semi-oceanfront home is ideal for extended family or a few families traveling together. Spacious, beautifully decorated interiors, great ocean views, a private pool, and loads of amenities will please everyone from the grandparents to the littlest beach goers.
Gather in the main floor great room featuring floor-to-ceiling windows to watch the dolphins or watch a movie on the 50” flat screen. The kitchen is full of added amenities such as a waffle maker, crock pots, griddle, seafood utensils, bake ware, and kids’ dishes so you’ll enjoy the conveniences of preparing meals. Plus, it’s open to the great room and its great ocean views.
Tropical landscaping and a privacy fence create a resort feel for your private, backyard pool. Cool off in the shade of the lower level deck, play corn hole, or just relax in the hammock. When they’ve had their fill of sun and surf, the den will entertain kids of all ages with Nintendo Wii, foosball, air hockey, board games, and toys for infants on up. There’s also a large selection of books for all ages, infant to adult, ranging from board books to novels to local interest. Walk to the Back Bay Wildlife Refuge or Little Island Park with its life-guarded beaches, fishing pier, tennis courts, basketball court, and playground.
Five bedrooms and four full baths, decorated with the calming colors of the sea and fun local themes, are spread out among three floors giving everyone a place to retreat. The owners refresh the decor, equipment, and amenities each season and only offer the home for a limited number of weeks. All of this attention to detail keeps Family Tides fresh for your vacation and will make you feel like you’re visiting the home of friends.
Third Level: Two bedrooms connected with a bath make an ideal family suite. Each overlooks the pool and has water views of the Back Bay. One has a queen-size bed and full-size crib (bring your crib sheet). The other features two bunk bed sets (twin/twin and twin/full). The Jack-and-Jill bathroom includes a tub/shower combination.
Second Level: Airy great room with multiple seating areas, 50” flat screen TV with DVD, and sound system. Well-equipped kitchen with ocean views and island with seating for six. Beverage station with wet bar and a mini fridge. Dining room seats 10 and has a high chair. Deck with bay and ocean views has table with seating for six, gas grill, and pool access. The ocean view master suite features a private deck, king bed, desk area, reading chair, and oversized bathroom (including dual vanities and a Jacuzzi tub with separate shower). This level also has another full bath (tub/shower combination) with easy access from the pool or great room.
Ground Level: The first floor bedrooms overlook the pool area. They include a king-size bedroom and the den/fifth bedroom with a twin/twin trundle. The full bath with walk-in shower offers easy access coming in from the pool or beach. Full-size laundry facilities. Ramp entry into the first floor. Second gas grill and outdoor table, plus and lots of lounge space and seating around the pool area.
Extras: 8-foot privacy fence encloses the backyard. Large (16x32) solar heated sports pool with buddy seats and stair entry. Enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water, and extra shower heads to make it easier to reach little sandy heads and toes. For bare-foot comfort the second-floor decks, entry ramp, and outdoor shower have splinter-free trex floors and the pool is surrounded by cool-crete. For your convenience, gas grills and outdoor dining/seating are provided on both outdoor levels. Wii, air hockey, foosball, corn hole, horseshoes, indoor and outdoor toys, books and 100+ DVD library. All bedrooms, den and great room include flat screen TVs with DVD players and CD or MP3 players. King and queen bedrooms include ceiling fans. Wifi Internet access, beach chairs, and other amenities await you. Special conveniences for young guests include baby proofing supplies, baby monitor, baby gates, bed rails, step stools, high chair, booster seat, full-size crib, three pack-n-plays, infant swing, and more.
