  Swimming pool, tennis courts and spa was enough for me but the apartment itself was beautifully decorated and such a lovely place to stay, you really have thought of everything, huge tv, great sound system, comfy beds, large sofa's. I did not want to leave but my wife promised to buy me a big t.v. like yours so reluctantly I had to go. We have already booked for next year and I recommend this place to anyone.

  What a fab place to stay, we really did enjoy ourselves. Have to say the place was very well presented, very clean and accessible to everything we needed. We were impressed to note that all members of the family were accomodated for in line of tv games and books. we will definately be coming again soon.

  We had a really lovely time in Portugal, the location at Manique is perfect, walking distance from the local shops and restaurants who boast the friendly locals I have yet to meet. The beaches are close and beautiful, we had the choice of quiet little cloves and long open beaches with restaurants and bars, it's enough to meet anyone's standards. The famous casino which is open very late and has all the entertainment one could hope for both for kids and adults alike. We never got bored and the one day it rained we stayed in and enjoyed the high definition tv, dvd's and iPod docking stations, the kids were in their element. The apartment itself was very modern and had all the mod cons we expected and more, the walk through video was EXACTLY what we got. Very well catered for and we were most impressed. There is a swimming pool which were surprised to find was not busy and very pleasant to spend the day at, warm from morning till night. We highly recommend this apartment, the owners were very upfront and helpful to deal with and the local representatives on site were at hand and very very friendy.

  We were met by the local team at 11:30pm and on arrival found a wonderful welcome pack with all we needed from bread and milk to wine and water, it meant we could just settle in and not have to go to the shop at that late hour. It was totally unexpected and a wonderful surprise. The apartment itself was immaculately clean and very modern, furnished with everything we could have wanted. The kitchen was fully equipped and even had the spit in the oven for the famous Portuguese chicken! These guys have thought of everything and it was very much appreciated, we could even enjoy espresso in real espresso cups, our favourite. We were out there celebrating our honeymoon and I sure hope that we get to spend our next anniversary there too, it was magic and we loved it. The swimming pool is warm and in the sun from early morning to late at night, after that we enjoyed a few games of tennis (free of charge) and there was ample space to stretch out and not many people about, it was quiet and perfect for us. The areas was great too, lots of little shops with the most friendly people you can hope to meet, beaches near by and great restaurants for those of us who do not cook that much while on holiday. Great job guys, we loved it and look forward to our next visit.

  The complex was somewhat down at heal - No gate security or guard, security entrance to the apartment block not working, filters not working in the swimming pool, and the clubhouse at the pool had closed down at the beginning of the summer. Once in the apartment two of the windows had broken locks, two light bulbs in the bedroom were not working and the toilet seat in one of the bathrooms was completely detached (a job that I fixed myself!). Promises to fix these matters were made but never carried out during our stay. There were a number of families living in neighbouring apartments with young and noisy children - 08.00 onwards and into the evening, and the use of the Estoril motor circuit for track testing plus the use of local airfield from 08.30 each morning is also worth mentioning! With no security it seems that a lot of local people invite themselves in to use the pool at weekends. The apartment really lacks a patio and somewhere to sit out either during the day or evening (only sun is in the early mornings into the bedrooms). The property was clean, but the location is a long way from Estoril and Cascais. More negatives than positives unfortunately following the upbeat description read at the time of booking. Thank goodness the weather was good for the duration of the stay.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

Often customers are excited by what they read on a web site advert and dissapointed in the real thing. In order to ensure our customers know exactly what they are getting we have launched a full walk through video of all our properties on our web site www.sunshinegetaways.co.uk. In these videos you are shown all the rooms, including kitchens, bathrooms and balconies in detail. We hide nothing and take pride in knowing we can deliver on our promise. After receiving this feedback we implimented a Mystery Customer Initiative which means we regularly have mystery customers vacation at our properties to gain first hand feedback on our behalf. After 6 mystery guests in 2011 alone we are delighted to have received nothing but compliments on our properties, the local support provided, the meet and greet teams, the surrounding areas and more. We will continue will this initiative so that we can prevent any issues and ensure you always get what you are promised and more!

  Talk about a luxury apartment, I especially loved the little touches of elegance like the flowers in the bathroom, candles in the bedrooms and toys for the kids to use at the pool- all very well thought out and well catered for. The layout is superb and there arecall the gadgets I wanted, an iPod docking station, huge TV with DVD player, DVD's and internet. If the tennis court and pool weren't enough, the inhouse entertainment provided was great! Oh, the beds ... possibly the most comfortable I have ever slept in !!!! I will definately be back again, thanks for a really wonderful time!

  Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
