We have had quite a few Nautical Watch guests (and guests from neighboring complexes) come up to us and ask if our unit is for rent. It is.
And, yes, this is, in fact, the first floor end unit in the B Building (the one on your left if you are approaching Nautical Watch from the beach).
For those new to Nautical Watch, these low-rise condominiums are part of a unique, family-oriented complex that offers beach lovers a welcome escape from the typical high-rise experience.
There are only two buildings, 3 floors each, on the beach: the A building and the B building. You really can't go wrong with any of the rent-by-owner units in either of these buildings, but if you ask any of our repeat guests, there is something special about the B5 unit.
B5 is on the first floor, so there are no stairs to climb. The heated pool at Nautical Watch is in the front of the complex so there is nothing separating you from the beach. You can be sitting in the shade on your balcony and you feel like you're under an umbrella on the beach.
This is an end unit, which means you have a better view of the beach and you can enjoy those lovely summer breezes that you couldn't get in a middle unit. You're in an unbeatable location for anonymous or socialable people watching.
The unit has just been updated once again in 2011. The furniture in the living room is brand new along with a new flat screen tv. The bedroom has new carpet and paint. In 2007 we put in new tile throughout. Fresh paint. And we modified the kitchen breakfast bar, so you have more counter space AND an even better view of the beach from the kitchen.
The Master features a king-size bed. The sleeper sofa in the living room is a queen. Beautifully decorated. Updated appliances. Located in the desirable East End, so you're close to everything Panama City Beach has to offer.
Nautical Watch has a "One strike you're out policy" when it comes to dealing with grossly inappropriate behavior. We view our guests as "owners for a week" so let the office know if anyone is getting out of line down there.
Also, let us know what we can do to make your next stay even better. We cater to our repeat guests.
Renters must be 25 years of age or older. 4 persons max. No smoking. No pets.

As far as I can see from the photos the old funiture is still there and not much has changed. New owners though, or maybe they moved to another state since we were there. It's a great spot and right on the beach, but the price for a monthly rental has gone way up! Had to do lots of cleaning, too.
Owner response:The reviewer is right, the pictures do not do our condo justice. We hope to have new pics up soon. Almost everything is new - queen size pull out sofa bed, leather chair and ottoman, flat screen tv, dining room chairs, carpet, paint, etc. Despite the many upgrades, our monthly winter rate has decreased, not increased, since the reviewer stayed there. We have owned Nautical Watch B5 since 2003 and take great pride in maintaining our 1st floor beachfront unit. Many of our guests are repeat visitors which is what we strive for.
Recommended for:Age 55+.

We had a wonderful stay. It was clean and well stocked. The balcony was awesome it feels like you are sitting under an umbrella on the beach! The sounds of the waves were so clear. From your door it is about a 1 minute walk to the sand! You can park your car right at the door! Being on the ground floor it was so easy to load and unload! The location was great~it was not crowded at all on the beach! The complex we very neat and clean and so was the pool which is located in the center of the complex not in front of it so it doesn't block your view of the beach. Your balcony is pretty much right on the sand! It was quiet and everyone there was really nice! I LOVED having the washer and dryer so I could keep the laundry up and we did not have to pack as much as we just washed and re-wore! I will definitely stay here again! Also while you are in Panama City Beach don't forget to get some Thomas Donuts as they are as close to heaven here on earth that you will get~The key lime pie, Raspberry and Strawberry are excellent as well as the Chocolate! Thanks again for letting us rent your condo it was a great and very comfortable stay~we will be back!

The location of the condon is excellent. It is on the first floor and makes bringing in luggage and groceries very easy. You are just a few steps away from the beach which is also great after a day in the sun. It is very close to restaurants and shopping.
Recommended for:Age 55+.
