Enjoy luxury yacht accomodations on beautiful Charleston Harbor. Snark is docked at the City Marina to provide you with amazing views and a great location. Why limit yourself to a hotel room for your visit to the historic city of Charleston, when you can be right on the water in the equivalent of a 3 bedroom 2 bath condo?
We have 3 separate staerooms that very comfortably sleep 6. There is a large L-shaped sofa in the salon that can accomodate 2 people. In addition, a large covered flybridge with mattress-like cushions is also comfortable for sleeping. We provide freshly cleaned sleeping bags for overflow guests.
Conde Nast readers have voted Charleston the world's top tourism town. There is so much to do and see here and being on the water just adds to the experience. The City Marina is less than a mile from the center of the downtown area. Bicycles are avialable for your use and the marina provides an hourly shuttle that loops around all of downtown's shops and restaurants. Cab rates are very reasonable on the peninsula so getting around without a car is very easy.
The yacht is not available for bare boat charters but we can arrange harbor cruises and overnight charters to nearby locations such as Beaufort and Hilton Head. (see rate sheet) We do offer a reduced rate for harbor cruises with a licensed Captain and mate when you book a minimum of two nights

Our group, of seven friends celebrating our 50th birthday, had a fantastic time on The Snark. It was clean, adventurous, and convenient. Sleeping is really best for six, but we managed just fine. Complementary taxi from marina was excellent. Beer, coffee and cream awaited us as did a clean and well appointed accommodation. So many laughs!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks for the kind comments. We have 4 total beds for sleeping (two queens and two singles) and two additional areas for overflow. Based on your comments about 6 people I am going to contact some of our previous large parties to see if they have additonal suggestions about increasing the sleeping options. I met my girlfriend's family out in Charleston for the weekend and we had an absolute blast. It was an amazing experience, one I'd recommend to anyone. The boat had great accommodations and was close to everything! If you're in Charleston this definitely the place stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

What a wonderful experience! We were very impressed with the amenities of the yacht and enjoyed all that it had to offer. The bikes were a hit and were used every day as we ventured in the city. Loved how close we were to all of the happenings of Charleston and look forward to visiting again soon! A few friends and I decided to take a weekend trip to Charleston to celebrate a bachelor party and came across this yacht on VRBO. I will tell you that the experience far exceeded our expectations! This is an absolutely beautiful boat with everything you could want in accommodations. I would be the first to tell anyone that is thinking of a trip to Charleston to look no further and book a stay on the Snark! The deck up top is absolutely beautiful at night with the view of the mariana! The owner was a wonderful host and provided everything we needed to know upfront and was very accommodating. Staying aboard the Snark for a weekend in Charleston was the best lodging decision we could have made. It was truly a wonderfully exceptional experience for a small family gathering! The yacht was well cared for and spotless with many amenities. We expected more movement being on the water, but there was little to none. The modern and roomy marina restrooms and showers are just a few footsteps away and can be used any time of day if "the heads" are in use. We also took advantage of the free shuttle to town and the nearby marina restaurant and shop. We highly recommend a stay on the Snark and if time permits, take a cruise. Lowry and Connie are most knowledgable about the area and are readily available.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This was the perfect alternative to a hotel and a great way to spend my 40th birthday with friends. The yacht is very comfortable and nicely equipped. Being on the water in close proximity to the core downtown Charleston area made for the perfect setting and having a free shuttle to and from downtown was an added bonus. The cruise around Charleston harbor with all of friends was amazing and unforgettable. The owners were great communicators and made the details very easy. We spent four days on the marina and had a wonderful vacation! The yacht was exactly as shown in the pictures it was very impressive, comfortable along with every amenity you would need. The marina was a very peaceful yet scenic location and was also located right around the corner from downtown Charleston. It would be safe to say that I will definitely be re-visiting Charleston as it is arguably the best vacation I have had. Lowry was very helpful with where to go to eat as well as the variety of shopping in the downtown area. Lowry was always a phone call away if needed as well. Without hesitation, I would recommend staying here!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.
