Relax on our large, covered, private third floor lanai while watching the spinner dolphins, whales breech (in season) boats and other activities in the ocean or happenings on Alii Drive. YES, OUR CONDO HAS A BEAUTIFUL DIRECT OCEAN VIEW!!!! Right in the heart of Kailua Kona, you're only steps away from oceanfront shops, restaurants and the waterfront!
Newly decorated, our lovely condo is fully equipped with everything you need in a home away from home for a few days, a few weeks, or a few months. The romantic bedroom offers a california king bed and plenty of closet storage. In the living room is a fold out queen sofa. Linens are provided and the unit also has a washer and dryer for your convenience.
Kona Plaza is a four floor condo community with elevators and free secure covered garage parking. The building is quiet and the double paned sliding doors leading to the lanai block outside noise when you're ready to relax inside.
We do not have hidden fees and recently saved a lucky traveler almost $200 by renting with us!

After two years in a row at the King Kam, this was a real treat to have all of the comforts of a home. We took advantage of the farmers market and kitchen. We made fresh salsa and papaya and enjoyed the patios. We love the village so this is close to everything. Thank you for a clean, well-stocked home. We will keep this memory special in our hearts. We had a very nice stay in Kona. Enjoyed listening to the birds in the big tree and watching the view from the balcony. We are traveling on to see the rest of the island. We really enjoyed our stay here! The "Big Island Revealed" book proved invaluable. We also borrowed the binoculars for our trip to Volcano Park! Love your location - we travel a lot but seldom go to the same location twice-however, if we ever choose to return to Kona, we'll see if your place is available. P.S. If you want convenience to the shopping in Kona this is it. The condo was clean and was full of amenities above and beyond. Loved the washer/dryer right in the unit, no walking with your laundry to another location. Lanai was very nice with an entertainment bar and comfy chairs. It had a nice view of the ocean.The birds in the trees will put you to sleep and greet you in the morning. The only downside was that you had the noise from the refrigeration unit from the stores below the condo, it was annoying at times but it didn't impact our enjoyment of the condo. Roger & Jonger were very helpful. Mahalo Jinger & RogerRecommended for: People with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+.

Unfortunately, the modern day convenience of a/c sometimes comes with the added noise. The positive, though, is that the hum blocks the street noise. I was enjoying the lanai yesterday evening listening to the birds in the banyan tree and watching the ocean activities and realized when the a/c unit cut off how easily I heard the traffic on Ali'i. We hope you and Neil will return soon and enjoy our return ohana rate!

Dear Jinger and Roger, This has been a wonderful (and much too fast) week! We have enjoyed staying in your condo. As others have said, and we say again, we also appreciate the cleanliness of your place and its location right in the middle of town. We love being able to walk to stores and restaurants. We also enjoy being able to fix meals "at home". The travel books you provide are an excellent resource. About the owner: My husband and I fell in love with the Big Island while honeymooning in Kona in 2004. We bought a home near Southpoint in 2007 and purchased our Kona condo in 2011. My husband works in Kona and having an occasional place to stay 'in the city' is a bonus for him, as the drive in is about an hour and 15 minutes. Because we are Big Island residents, we are readily available should need arise during your visit or if you would like us to arrange something special for you and your beloved's arrival. We combine warm aloha with southern hospitality and strive to exceed your expectations!
Why the Owner Chose Kona Plaza:
The minute I walked into our Kailua Kona condo and saw the gorgeous ocean view, I knew this was the place for us! We are right in the middle of everything and enjoy leisurely walks by the bay, to the shops and to a variety of restaurants.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
There are so many wonderful things we enjoy about our Kona Bay Hideaway! The view of the ocean from our lanai, watching the dolphins play, the cruise ships and activities in the water, the convenience of being in the heart of Kona and in walking distance of everything, the variety of restaurants and shops, the pool, being beside the Mokuaikaua Church and across the street from Hulihee Palace! What's not to love? Even our English Setter (Spencer) loves going out on the lanai and watching people come and go in the shops below and watching the songbirds flying around. He also enjoys going out for his strolls and meeting people. The coffee and ice cream shop downstairs has an outdoor eating area, so he sometimes gets to enjoy ice cream with us.
