    That might be the definition of luxury: to stay on a superb apartment in this superb city! Honestly, it's actaully not necessary to leave the apartement, you could watch the city from above all day and all night. To make it short, the reality easily met the expectations, set by the description. We had fast and very friendly contacts with the owners, everything worked out perfectly, we weere very happy about the condition of the apartement and exspecially about the view and the setting within Chelsea. It's quite ner to the Highline, were we went as often as possible. We not only recommend the apartement, we would be happy to have to opportunity to go there again ourselves. Thanks C+S

    Apt was just like pictures showed. Easy walking distance to Time Square, Empire State Bldg, and Chelsea Piers on the Hudson. Many Resturants and Deli's close by. Beautiful view of city lights and 911 Memorial from rooftop deck. We were there for our 42nd Anniversary and had a wonderful time that we'll never forget.

    I stayed in the Chelsea apartment during my recent business trip to NYC. The apartment was everything I had hoped for and more...the decor is lovely and inspired, floor plan is spacious, kitchen well-stocked, views are stunning. Traveling as a single woman, I felt very safe in the neighborhood and in the building. Whole foods was nearby for easy shopping. The owners were easy to contact and very helpful. And, it was easy to access cabs from in front of the building. The apartment helped to make my week long road trip easier and I appreciated the relaxing environment at the end of the day. So much better than a hotel...

    Une location conforme à sa description et bien équipée. Le linge, les serviettes, les produits d'entretien, etc. L'essentiel est prévu, ne reste plus qu'a remplir le frigo. La vue est tout simplement magnifique. D'un côté Wall Street, de l'autre l'Empire State Building. En prenant les escaliers pour l'étage suivant, le toit, offre une vue à 360° encore plus époustouflante. L'emplacement géographique de l'appartement est lui aussi idéal avec l'accès à plusieurs lignes de métro à quelques pas. Nous avons vraiment passé un excellent séjour et avons apprécié New York. Nous conseillons vivement cette location à tous ceux qui souhaitent un appartement avec vue situé au cœur de Manhattan.

    This is a wonderful apartment to stay in while in New York. The apartment lived up to all it says it is! It was clean, comfortable and has a fabulous view! The owners were very responsive and made sure that an issue we had was promptly taken care of by their assistant (who was great). The location is ideal with easy access to all parts of the city. I highly recommend this apartment for a wonderful NYC stay!

    Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - and though we had four (two kids 13 & 9), we did fit fairly comfortably. The girls loved sleeping on the double bed couch! The apartment was just as described, and clean, and cosy! The views couldn't be beat from any direction! And location? WOW! Easy to walk to the subway (which we did), and also such a great location to get to a great drink at the Nomad Hotel, coffee at Stumptown, and a quick (but SO DELICIOUS) pizza at Waldy's! Loved all of the suggestions from them about where to go eat, and where to get groceries, etc! Very helpful! Extremely responsive, so if you ever need anything during your stay, no problem! And we never had to wait more than a minute for a cab on the corner of 7th / 26th! And in the rain, sleet, snow - that makes a difference!!! Would love to come back with my girlfriends next! Thanks for a fabulous stay and weekend!

    Cet appartement est parfaitement situé pour visiter Manhattan, à pieds, ou en metro. Nous nous sommes rendus à pieds, dans tous les sites (Soho, Tre-Beca, mid_tow, central park, museums ....). Il est tout à fait conforme à la description, très propre et très agréable à vivre. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour d'une semaine dans ce lieu ( nous étions 3 personnes) et nous remercions Eric qui nous a facilité notre départ. Perfectly located for access to Manhattan, Hi-Line, Soho, Tri-Beca, mid-town, and more, this comfortable condominium was great, and clean. Perfect choise for 3 persons. .Arrival and departure were uneventful, and we enjoyed our stay.

    This apartment was exactly as pictured and described by the owner. It was modern, clean, had everything I wanted and I felt so glamorous staying there! The owners were helpful when needed and it was easy to arrive. The perfect apartment for me! I ended up walking and taking taxis as it is not a perfect location for the subway. Lots of great food available nearby, (Whole Foods, Garden of Eden, Fancy Foods) but not the greatest neighborhood for restaurants.

    The apartment was very clean, extremely comfortable, and perfectly situated----easy to get to and with awesome views! What we appreciated most though, was the helpful and professional service provided by Eric. He went out of his way to address quickly and efficiently a couple of issues that surfaced, and did everything possible to make us comfortable and happy. We would gladly stay here again (and again!) and enthusiastically recommend the apartment (and Eric)!

    The Chelsea apartment was just perfect for us. Centrally located, near subways, shopping, movie theaters, and our son's work. We were in the City to visit him during the holidays, so the location was very convenient. All the amenities of the building were fabulous too, and the view...Wow!!! The front desk staff were always helpful, and the apartment itself was just the right size for us. We even cooked Christmas dinner there! Just perfect!

    Perfectly located for access to the Village, Chelsea, the Hi-Line, Soho, Tri-Beca, mid-town, and more, this comfortable condominium was a great choice for my annual trip to Manhattan with my daughter. At the end of each day, it was a pleasure to return "home" to beautiful city views, comfortable beds, and an efficient and well-stocked kitchen. Filling the kitchen from trips to Eataly, the Union Square Greenmarket, or one of the many small wine shops in the area allowed us to recover from miles of walking each day with delicious snacks and meals overlooking Manhattan .Arrival and departure were uneventful, and our stay there was both restorative and exciting.

    Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

    A wonderful apartment in the perfect location! The apartment had everything we needed & more! The view was phenomenal (I could spend hours sitting at the windows sipping coffee)! Wonderful restaurants & coffee shops just steps away. Is very close to all the main attractions. Eric was very easy to reach & stayed in contact before & throughout the trip. Outstanding hospitality & great suggestions on places to visit while in NYC. I fell in love with this place, & we will definitely be staying here again! -Lori

    I can't say enough about the wonderful experience we had. The location was perfect, just a few blocks from several subway lines. The building itself was beautiful, with an added bonus of the roof top deck (which you could watch the Macy's Parade from!). We are pretty particular about the little things....the sheets, towels, etc were fresh and clean and very comfortable. The view was phenomenal...we seriously could not have asked for anything more. We will definitely be back for another visit to NYC! Be at ease...the communication was great!

    Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    The apartment has everything you need for a short or long stay in NYC. The apartment was clean and cosy. We had some cold weather and snow during our stay and were perfectly happy to stay in, watch tv and surf on the wi-fi. On days out, you're very centrally located for the sites to the north, Empire State, Times Square, Central Park etc, as well as Battery Park, ground zero etc to the south. We particularly enjoyed heading over to 10th Ave and walking the high-line down to Chelsea market. If you enjoy walking, as we do, you can actually reach almost anywhere you want to go on foot from this location, though we sometimes took a taxi back to the apartment later in the day. Eric and Craig were always very responsive. Though we didnt have any problems, their quick replies to any questions before we arrived, and their very helpful fact sheet that they will send you just before your arrival, are very reassuring. One observation, the apartment is very bright and only has very thing blinds on the windows, so you do tend to rise early with the sun, but so you should when NYC is waiting to be explored and enjoyed! We'll definitely be returning.

    We spent five days here ending 22/10. The apartment was simply sensational. It is located near 6th Ave & 27th street, a five minute walk from the red and yellow subway lines and about 8 mins from the blue line. With these you can easily get to anywhere in the city. A good coffee shop is just downstairs and a very functional little supermarket as well within the Duane Reade store. The apartment itself really is just as the photos portray. It is on the 32nd floor and the predominant view is of the Met Life Tower and 6th Ave, with the Empire State Building off to the left. Down 6th Ave you have a view of the new World Trade Centre tower. From the rooftop terrace you have a 360 degree view across the city to the Hudson River and all around. The apartment is well kept and feels very much like 'home' - and the wireless internet service is excellent! The apartment block boasts a very good gym (accessible to guests) and an excellent laundry room. From the apartment it is a 10 min walk straight up 6th Ave to Macy's on Herald Square (which has excellent general shopping) and Times Square takes about 15 mins from the front door via the subway. The red metro line is the one we used the most - on this you can get to just about anywhere you'll want to go - Times Square, South Ferry (for Staten Island/Statue of Liberty), Ground Zero and Wall Street. The yellow line will take you to Chinatown & Little Italy as well as the Brooklyn Bridge and Central Park. In summary, if you want a wonderfully located place to stay in New York which is quiet, well looked after and with a fantastically comfortable queen bed, then this is your place!

    The view from this 32nd floor apartment downtown and uptown is amazing. Everything worked very smoothly, the keys were with the doormen and we immediately got settled in. The apartment is just as shown in the pictures which worked perfectly for my party which included my wife and 10 year old twins. Very close by you have some of the best food shops in the city (Whole Foods, Eataly, Chelsea Market) and the apartment has very good appliances to cook. HD Cable tv and high speed internet are also a plus. Full service building so doormen could receive packages. Location is excellent with top shops and restaurantes close by. Highly recommend staying at this apartment.

    We were very impressed when we first viewed the vacation rental advertisement for this apartment. We had booked hotels for a number of cities on our US trip and were keen to have some time out in a more 'normal' home experience. We were not disappointed. The apartment lived up to all of our expectations - fabulous, central location, magnificent views & quality inclusions throughout. Everything we needed and hoped for, was provided - comfortable beds, quality linen, user friendly appliances, top of the line cookware/ knife block etc (oh to be able to easily shop for and prepare a home cooked meal with ease - bliss!). Even having 24 hour access to a huge laundry with numerous washers and dryers was such a plus (especially when you are travelling as a family). Whenever we had a question or concern during our stay, Eric & Craig were a quick email away. We received a speedy response - nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed our stay in NYC immensely. Staying in this apartment was the icing on the cake. There is SOOO much to see and do in this amazing city that it's such a treat to be so centrally located to everything & then be able to come home to a place like this after a long day. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to any couple or family with two children and would rent it again at the drop of a hat! Toni & Rob McGuinness Sydney, Australia

    What a wonderful experience it was to be high off the street in this fabulous apartment! Plenty of privacy, helpful front desk, superb location, astounding views! What more can I say!     We had a great five day stay at this property and it was wonderful. The photos did not do it justice as the property was even lovlier than the pictures portray. The views are amazing, and the unit is furnished very nicely. The bed is very comfortable and the apartment is very clean and has everything you need in the kitchen. The owners answered emails right away and gave very detailed instructions as how to use everything , nearby stores, etc. Chelsea is a great location and walkable to everything....very close to Penn Station and walkable to Soho, shopping, Times Square area, 5th ave, I would definitely recommend staying here over a hotel and i hope to make this our new place to stay when in NYC!

    Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

    We enjoyed every aspect of this apartment! The apartment is a great location, walking distance to many restaurants and places we wanted to visit and a short subway or cab ride to many others. The view was lovely both day and night from the apartment and the rooftop one floor up. We felt safe and comfortable. Our daughters found the sofa bed much more comfortable than they expected and enjoyed waking up to the morning sunlight overlooking Manhattan. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable. I have perfume allergies and so I especially appreciated that unlike many apartments we have rented there were no strange "air fresheners". Eric was a gracious host and answered our few questions via email very promptly. We hope to return to NYC again and will definitely hope to stay there again!

    The apartment was even nicer than the picture. Every picture are true, and that's rare, It wasn't our first rental in NY ! The setup is warm and cosy. Everything on the kitchen, Large closet to hang all our shopping. Wonderful view from the Empire State on North bound to the Tower of Liberty. The building is quiet and well maintained, nice doorman. Well located at 1 block from 2 Subway stations, grocery store nearby. A nice place to stay, it's great. Thanks guys.

    This is one of those places that you want to tell everyone about, and at the same time you don't want to tell anyone at all. I can not honestly think of one negative comment about the Chelsea apartment, but I can think of a lot of positives. The view is AMAZING!!!! The modern decor, location, view, building, cleanliness, delis, and stores nearby, did I mention the view. One of my favorite features about the apartment was the access to the roof because of the great, you guessed it, VIEW. You don't need top of the rock when you rent this penthouse. We most definitely will be staying here again. Craig and Eric were very prompt to return my emails and answer any questions. I highly recommend this Chelsea Penthouse.

The apartment was absolutely gorgeous with stunning views of both up and downtown. While we weren't in the apartment all that much, it was the perfect place to wind down and relax after a long day out. We had a little trouble getting into the apartment with the doorman, but within 15 minutes of my husband calling Craig and Eric we were able to get it. This is an absolutely fabulous apartment with exemplary hosts. Definitely would recommend this apartment to my friends, and we hope to return soon!

    The apartment is in a great location. The building is safe; they've got a large laundry room and a really nice, well appointed gym. I left behind the charger for my Bose headphones and Eric was kind enough to get them from the apartment and send them to me Fedex.

    I was somehow nervous to rent a place abroad as I live in Paris and I wanted things to be perfect for my mum's birthday, well I can say I was far from being disapointed.. you know how you feel sometimes when you enter a hotel room you've only seen on a photograph: too small, damaged furniture, heavy curtains smelling like dust... well this time on the contrary I was amazed by the place ! High ceiling, bright, charmly furnished, large and comfortable matress, fresh linen, state of the art household appliances ... and the view through those large windows : the Empire State building on the left and the under construction Freedom Towers on the right... even more beautiful at sunset when the city lights up... Concretely, you live on the 32nd floor, the location is perfect, right in the middle of Manhattan though you have to walk a little in order to find nice places to eat (Try the Empire Diner on the 10th - typical diner's or the Grainee Café on the 9th) but as the taxi is so cheap it doesn't really matter, the place is super clean despite a few stains on the couch, the owners are always easy to reach by mail and respond quickly, the common areas of the building are well maintained and very cleaned and you can find all you need in the apartement : hairdryer, extra linen, toilet papers, napkins etc the only bad part is that the doorman refused to keep our luggage on the day of our departure : check out was at 12:00 and our flight at 20:00 :o(( I guess I didn't come upon the right guy... ! I would definetly recommend that place and the online payment is very secured and so easy. Marie-Pierre Paris, France

    We recently spent a week in this apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All was as described and the owners checked in with us by email to ensure everything was to our satisfaction and answer any questions. We are a family of four with two teenagers, so it was cosy, however, we spent most of our time out enjoying NYC, so it wasn't an issue at all. The apartment was well stocked with basics (coffee, tea, shampoos, etc) and is very bright and sunny. The laundry room is very clean and modern as is the gym on the second floor. We found the front doormen and other building residents to be very friendly, always with a smile and a greeting. The subway is less than a five minute walk away, and grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, great pizza (Waldy's on 6th Ave), wine store are all within a stones throw. We would highly recommend this place and would not hesitate to stay here again ourselves!

    The apartment is exactly as pictured on the website- it is very welcoming, bright and comfortable. It is perfect for 2 people but with the extra sofa bed, an additional person or two is possible for a short period of time. The apartment is in a prime location, a walking distance to most of the major attractions in the city. The doormen were always very friendly and helpful, and I always felt safe. The walkway into the apartment (a soothing water wall) is a very nice touch after a long day of exploring the city. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again.

    The apartment was exactly as promised, modern, clean & well appointed. Both Craig & Eric were very helpful & attentive. We stayed for 9 days as a working trip. It was terrific to go back to a bright cheerful apartment instead of a hotel. The doormen were pleasant & helpful. Our daughter & her friend came & stayed for a couple of days & slept comfortably on the pull out sofa. I would highly recommend this apartment.

    We are discerning (translate picky) travelers, so the accuracy of a listing is very important to us. The Chelsea Penthouse listing was spot on, fairly and accurately describing a sunny city oasis. The owners were easy to work with, the property was clean and nicely furnished with all the amenities we needed to make this our home away from home. The building seemed new and very secure with a 24 hour doorman. We had absolutely no problems (which is the way we like to travel) with the property or the arrangements. We liked the location; not too far from the West Village or uptown to Times Square and Central Park. We actually walked north to the Dakota on W 72nd and south to Ground Zero. Both were healthy/vigorous walks providing us an opportunity to see the city and all it has to offer. There are plenty of gourmet shops, groceries, wine/liquor stores, all in the neighborhood and easily accessible. We especially liked the area on Bleeker Street between 6th and 7th Avenues. We had the best Mexican food we have ever eaten (including in Mexico) at Ofrenda (www.ofrendanyc). A very ecclectic, quiet, authentic find (go for happy hour). Avoid the Caliente Cab Company at all costs. Also, you have to go into the cheese shop on Bleeker - I guarantee you have never smelled anything like it in your life - absolutely, mind-beguilingly awesome! Having stayed at rental properties throughout the world, I highly recommend the Chelsea Penthouse. We wanted something clean, convenient, sunny (very important to us not to be in a dark box somewhere), safe, comfortable, with updated amenities (flat screen w/DVD & Cable, stainless kitchen appliances, furniture, etc. This property was all of those things - imagine looking out your window on the 32nd floor and seeing the Empire State Building lit up in all its glory. Oh, yeah, it was also quiet at night (for NYC), which was also important to us. Overall, if I was to suggest any improvements (nit picking), I would say some type of stereo with an IPOD dock would have been nice and the bed could have been a bit more comfortable. I spend considerable time researching properties so we encounter no surprises when we travel. Save your time and benefit from my work; book this right away - you wont regret it. Finally, when booking in large cities, I always have a concern about being scammed - no worries here - very legit and as advertised - rent with confidence and enjoy the Big Apple.
