Villa Celeste is part of a three townhome complex. A triple level uniquely designed home, giving you exceptional ocean and mountain views of Potrero Bay, Catalina Islands & Flamingo. Large windows provide you with ocean breezes and enhances the soothing rhythm of the soothing surg to embrace you. The king bed faces the spectacular ocean view and the twinkling lights of Flamingo at night.
The 3rd level encompasses the master bedroom, large bathroom, double vessel sinks, granite counter top, soaker tub and walk in ceramic shower. A separate toilet and walk in closet. Large private balcony with ocean view and a smaller balcony with mountain views
The main floor provides you with a modern kitchen with granite breakfast bar. Fully outfitted for you to try mouth watering meals with fresh seafood and tropical succulent fruits. A powder room, dining and living area. Dining table for six and large ocean view balcony. Enjoy the sounds of tropical birds, howlers monkeys and the surf while you sip your fragrant freshly brewed Costa Rican coffee….
Enjoy a cooling dip in the refreshing pool and listen to the cascade of the waterfall. Sip your mango slushy and soak in the Jacuzzi tub.
Lower entrance level has one bedroom with a Queen bed, and a closet.The bathroom has a walk in ceramic shower, vessel sink, a gorgeous hand carved door, providing you with exquisite local artistry.
A sitting area with a pull out couch and a bunk bed provides additional private sleeping area. The sliding glass doors lead to the outside granite patio bar area which leads up to the pool area.. An 8 minute walk to 3 diversely different beaches. Several restaraunts, food stores, ATM with in walking distance.

My goodness where to start!!! My husband and I decided that costa rica would be a great vacation spot for the month of February. Without really knowing much about the country we quickly got online searched a few vacation spots and decided this villa best suited our criteria. I have never seen nor stayed at a place quite this nice before!!!!! The view is absolutely spectacular , the ocean is beautiful and also are the sunsets! In the villa there is oodles of room for many people (great for small or large families) the master bedroom is fabulous!!!!! The bed is probably thee comfiest bed I have ever slept on, it's like sleeping on a cloud!!! The greatest things about how the villa was constructed no matter what level you are on weather it's the main , middle, or the top floor every view is amazing!!! The walks down to the beaches was nice and not far at all, a few minuets and your at the beach! The monkeys were another high light to the stay. Other countries my husband and I have toured you have to venture quite far to see the wildlife. That is defiantly no the case here the wildlife is so spectacular!!! The monkeys are everywhere but never bothered us, I think I was the one who bothered them :) its so surreal to be able to be that close to the wildlife. The local restaurants are very cute very Costerican :) if your looking for McDonalds this is not where you will find that, this area is so authentic you get the costa rica experience weather it's at the restaurants, the local grocery store, or going to the beaches you won't be disappointed! The beaches are wonderful!!!!! We could walk to 3 different beaches that were all breath taking! They were never crowded they are so big that everyone has their own spot comfortably :) I was blown away with how clean the beaches are as well (you never know what to expect but I was blown away!) the local tourism center was fantastic the men that run it were very helpful when we needed to book our tours , it was literally a 2 min walk from the villa to the tourism center. The options are endless regarding tours! All in all this experience was AMAZING we will defiantly be going back year after year to the same villa, you just can't top the experience you can have staying here :) hope my review is helpful to those who are considering costa rica as a destination for your next family getaway trust me you won't be disappointed!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

About the owner: I grew up in Ontario, Canada but spent many vacations in Florida and I have always been intrigued by the ocean. I've worked in the healthcare Industry for over 25 years. My husband is a geologist. born and raised in Alberta, Canada. We love to travel with our family, kayaking, photography, hiking, quading, and seeking out new adventures. Why the Owner Chose Playa Potrero:
We first visited this area in 1996 and fell in love with everything about Costa Rica, the people, flora, fauna, and the exceptional beauty of the Gold Coast. It has been my husbands mission to find a place and now we have our piece of paradise. Close to the airport, and this area has just about everything you may want to do. We go to beaches where we are the only ones on it. We learn new things about the country every time we come here and we can't wait till it is time for the next adventure.
