Follow the tides in a kayak for viewing turtles, fish and dolphins. Bird watching or photography? There is no place better for panoramic views. Bring your motor boat or jet ski for endless hours on deep water. For day trips take the ferry to Sapelo Island (lighthouse) or Cumberland Island (wild horses on the beach) .Pack a lunch and boat to Blackbeard Island for shelling. It's an easy drive to Saint Simons Island (lighthouse) and or Jekyll Island for a day at the beach and sandcastles. Take the easy way and hang out in the neighborhood. Convenient to the best of coastal Georgia
Convenient to the best of coastal Georgia
Less than 5 miles to a grocery store despite the nice very rural location on 8 acres all to yourself. You are in between the Tybee & Jekyll island beaches plus the cable TV & high speed internet (3 Mps download speed). Cell coverage was good (Verizon) so as to not be out of touch so if you had a work/vacation you could do so from this spot along with the speedy internet. Very shaded with plenty of trees with spanish moss draping them. Linda & her Husband were very accommodating & also the invitation to join them & others for their July 4th celebration at their house where they are not far away if needed.
