Our family (me, spouse, two 9-year olds) had an excellent stay. Loved the deck, the location right on the water, the hammock, the layout of the house, the peaceful surroundings, etc. Recommended.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

We loved our stay at this beautiful lake house. It was clean and well maintained. The owners were very pleasant to deal with. We beached our boat in the cove below the house (a little tricky--because of the extremely low water level there were exposed tree trunks in the water that we had to navigate) and had a great time. My only complaint is that the television was tiny and hard to see, but I shouldn't have been watching tv at the lake anyway.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

This place is awesome. Very clean and extremely comfortable. Our family had a wonderful time on our spring break vacation. I, my wife and kids thought this place rocks! The kids enjoyed playing in a nearby stream and we all enjoyed the fishing in the lake and nearby Little Red River. Each one of our kids had fun bringing in the fish (we caught 10 rainbow trout) and surprisingly, even the small ones enjoyed eating the catch of the day. Typically when we go to a vacation home, it usually doesn't have all that we need (i.e., dishes, utensils, blankets, etc.), but this place had all that we needed. There was ample space for us all to enjoy the back porch and the beautiful scenery. In fact, while enjoying a quiet moment on the back porch, an amazing thing happened in that a bald eagle soared through the cove just above the water. We are very thankful for the good, quality family time. We give this place the highest ratings and we are thankful to the Holdens for their warm welcome and gracious hospitality in letting us stay at their awesome place.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2008
About the owner: We grew up loving the lake and plan to retire there one day. At the moment we work and raise our two children in a town fairly nearby (about 50 miles).
Why the Owner Chose Greers Ferry:
120 Stone Circle was under construction when we purchased it in 2008. It has been a huge source of enjoyment and relaxation for our family. We decided to open it up to vacation rental in Feb. of 2012. We love the quiet, natural atmosphere of the area. One of the best things about the location on the lake is the great skiing and fishing cove the house sits on. You never really have to leave the cove. It's been a wonderful memory making, little piece of heaven.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
There is a boat ramp at a local campground about 1 mile distance. Greers Ferry is located about 10 miles where there is a dollar store, grocery store, Sonic, Subway, gas stations and a few family owned restaurants. We highly recommend Janssens Restaurant for their fabulous food and atmosphere.
