  My family was celebrating 2 birthdays and wanted to have a mini getaway. This abode fit our needs and then some! The home is in a gated community and the drive up prepares your for the serene and tranquil stay. Upon entering the home, the view is simply breathtaking and the floor plan is open. The kitchen has everything you need! My husband was excited about the great sound system and television in the living room. So much time was spent in the backyard at the pool. They pictures don't do the grounds justice. If you want to get away, just walk to the edge of the property and you'll get that slice of peace. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and we are definitely planning to go back.

  The house & grounds were wonderful. Pictures were great, but it was even more so when actually seeing it for yourself. We had 12 ladies going, but ended up with 10. Perfect house for a girl's weekend, but also a family. It had plenty of room to spread out & have some quite time if you wanted. We didn't leave the house at all except to take several walks. It ended up being perfect fall weather so the walks were very pleasant. We loved the spa, fire pits, and sitting areas outside. Some of us even used the putting green. We didn't read the instructions fully for the tv's, and dishwasher wasn't draining so I had to call Jeff. Thank you Jeff for being so patient with us! Fully understood that with it being Saturday, you couldn't get a repairman out. Glad to hear that a repairman came on Monday to solve that problem. We did get tv's working & watched A&M! Whoop! The home & grounds meet our needs perfectly and we voted to come back for one of our next get-to-gathers!

  We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, well-equipped home! The house was spacious, well-appointed and clean. The heated pool and hot tub was fanastic and the view of the lake was lovely. Only down side was that, due to low lake levels, there isn't really "lake access" from this home unless you want to scramble over piles of rocks on the lake bed. But if you're not planning to bring a boat, this house is a perfect getaway.

  We had a great time during our stay here. Our entire family of 10 was under one roof and how relaxing to float in the pool while enjoying the view. The large kitchen accommodated all the chefs and how nice to all sit at the table together. Comfy beds, plenty of bathrooms and room to spread out.

  This is a great house that is exactly as it looks in the VRBO photos and description. The view of the Lake area from the kitchen/living room is stunning. We brought four families each with children ages 4 and under and had plenty of room for everyone. The layout of the home suited us perfectly and with the downstairs den (i.e. second living room) there was a great open space for the kids to read and play in a safe environment, while not being underfoot of the adults upstairs. There are two bedrooms downstairs each with its own bathroom and two bedrooms upstairs. The second bedroom upstairs in a converted office but still provided plenty of room for everyone. There are some glass top side and coffee tables in this house. We moved all glass to a closet so it was not an issue with the kids. This was easy to do. Regarding the surrounding area we didn't explore Lago Vista much and cooked most of our meals at the house. I know there are options for area dining (and we received many recommendations from the owner) but traveling with kids may have been too much for us, as the house was remote enough for us to not want to travel too far to explore and honestly the house offered more than enough to do that I never felt like we were stuck in the home or that we were missing out by not exploring Lago Vista proper. We did order Pizza one night and it arrived within 30 minutes. The kitchen was fully stocked and provided everything we needed to cook multiple meals. The pool area was FANTASTIC. The Lake is low but the view was still amazing from the pool area. If you are able to visit when they receive more rain you will be in for an even greater treat. There are multiple entertaining areas outside and some fun signs that give perspective on the lake water levels. Mike, the owner was available to us via email and cell phone all weekend if there was a question that needed answered or an appliance that needed clarification for operating. This was very helpful and felt like it was over an above what many owners provide. We would recommend this house to friends and hope to stay here again.

  The house is exactly as pictured, and boasts well kept grounds, beautiful pool, and hot tub. We were on a "ladies weekend" and our group found the bedrooms and baths to be amply supplied with comfortable bedding and towels. The backyard gas grill cooked our steaks to perfection, and everything was in wonderful working order from top to bottom. The huge fridge held all our favorite beverages, and there is even a small built-in fridge and ice maker in the bar downstairs to serve the pool area. Of course, my favorite thing is the wonderful view of Lake Travis.

  We really enjoyed our stay at the home the past weekend. The owner was so easy to work with and very responsive to any questions that we had before and during our stay. The home is beautiful and has a wonderful layout if there is a large group being two stories. The backyard was beautiful and there were lots of separate areas if we wanted a little space to ourselves. The views from the home were beautiful and it was a wonderful experience. I would rent this home again in a heartbeat!

  This property is amazing! The view is incredible, although the lake is on the low side. The owners were extremely nice and quick to respond to my email. The house is well kept and clean. The outside property is well taken care of as well. Upon arrival there was a smell that was in the upstairs area, but after opening the windows and spraying febreze it was not as potent. (smelled like a strong wood floor cleaner). The master bedroom's bed is like heaven, you practically melt into the mattress. I called the owners immediately to figure out how to work the stereo and they walked me through it. They also explained to me the spa/pool buttons in detail, which was very helpful. The owners emailed me every morning to see how things were going and to ask if i needed suggestions on restaurants, etc. I emailed them about the lights that were supposed to light up the walkway leading down to different levels, but they said the guy that was supposed to be coming to fix them had not called them back. It would have been an entirely different night experience if those had worked. The weekend we stayed there was no sun and the wind was up to 30mph. The inside was so large, all 13 of us were able to fit comfortably. All in all the stay was more than i expected!

  We were able to rent this place a week before arrival, the owner was quick at responding to any questions regarding booking or the place.The house is absolutely gorgeous!!! The picture provided does match the house description. We were a group of 14 people that stayed at this house and there was enough space for everyone.The pool and spa were kept clean, the grill worked perfectly and the view was absolutely dazzling. We stayed there for 2 nights and didn't wanted to go back as there is so much fun stuff you can do at this place. Pool and spa being the major fun factor, you can play golf or the horse shoe or even go down to the lake. Overall I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat..

We are first come first serve rental property. Reservations are not final until we receive the signed rental agreement and deposit.

The deposit is due immediately and remainder of balance is due 21 days prior to check in. Payment can be paid with either a personal check, money order or credit card.

Additional Fees and Taxes:

One time cleaning fee of $175.00

One time property insurance fee of $69.00

Sales Tax of 12.5%.
