Long description: This lovely bungalow is my dream home and my sanctuary, offering spacious light filled rooms. It is recently renovated , tastefully decorated in neutral tones and has a relaxed Florida ambiance. All the appliances and the equipment are new. The solarium overlooks the new patio and a private backyard with a variety of shrubs. The backyard borders a green ravine with towering trees and abundant wildlife (for a city) including eagles, rabbits, egrets and songbirds. I came from the country so that view of nature and trees was very important to me. The backyard is quite large and fenced, with a patio for outdoor meals and recent landscaping. The neighbourhood is peaceful and safe, a good 8 miles from the noisy tourist areas. I love the facility of driving in Port Saint Lucie and the ease of access to shopping malls, health food stores, oodles of recreational centres offering dance, billiards, scrabble and many other fun pastimes... in fact, whatever interests you have can probably be found here. As well, there is the world class PGA golf course, several theme parks and the public beaches. This welcoming home offers a haven of tranquility for you and your loved ones to relax and rejuvenate.

About the owner: I am a country woman who wanted an urban setting with all the perks of urban living... and a view of nature, some tall trees and a quiet peaceful setting. I found this lovely home in 2009 and spent a year renovating it so it would be comfortable and a joy to live in and come home to.
Why the Owner Chose Port St. Lucie:
Even though I may visit the tourist traps on a daily basis, I prefer to live in a quiet residential area where the neighbours are nice and the neighbourhood is safe and sane. My home is my sanctuary. I found that with this home.
The Unique Benefits at this Bungalow:
Short version: Easy access, private serene setting and everything I need is nearby.
Long version: Having my morning coffee listening to bird songs and seeing a rabbit hop across the lawn. In the early evening seeing majestic eagles perched in the tall trees lining the ravine behind the property. Walking on the sundappled path through the trees behind my house, gardening in the warm Florida sunshine, and experiencing the abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables so readily available. Having great neighbours. Shopping at the local health food store, browsing the thrift stores for books, visiting the town centre for dance exercise lessons and billiards, enjoying a variety of restaurants including delicious Thai and traditional Italian, renting a movie on DVD for 1$ at one of the 20 area malls. And of course there is the PGA golf course, the Everglades, all the theme parks, and the ocean with its wonderful beaches. I discover more wonderful attributes about ¨Port Saint Lucie with each visit.
