Nice location, very convenient to Phoenix area. 6700' so much cooler than Sedona. House was nice, furniture was great. Neat fireplace and all the conveniences of home. One problem which is admittedly personal but I have a bad knee and the first four steps to get to stairs are killers. Very tall and no hand rail. Stairs themselves were fine. It would be an easy fix. I would suggest adding a handrail or lowering depth of those steps. All and all a great placeRecommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My family wanted to escape to the snow and stayed here for a few nights. We had a wonderful time, the place was cozy yet big enough for 6 adults and our dogs. The home was dog friendly as well even providing doggie door that led to a small dog run. They had sleds available for us to use for our snow fun and a binder containing sites to visit and some dining options. The owner is very nice and easy to deal with. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed at this cabin over Christmas break and enjoyed it very much. Everything was clean, modern and nicely decorated. We had lots of snow and had tons of fun sledding down the steep side streets nearby. We especially appreciated the beautiful fire place that warmed us up quickly as we came in from the snow. The large flat screen TV was great to watch movies on and watch some channels we dont have at home with their direct TV. The kitchen was a real plus having a large granite counter with stools and modern appliances. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were also modern, spacious and very clean. We typically rent cabins in munds park 2 times per year and this was one of the nicest ones.Doug was very helpful whenever we had a question. We hope to visit this cabin again in the future and we highly recommend it!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Glad you enjoyed the sledding. If you have time, you should try Wing Mountain recreation area a short drive away.

I was actually staying in this cabin on my own and so it was much bigger than I needed for myself and my two dogs but it was one of the nicest I have rented in Munds Park. The cabin was extraordinarily clean and the furnishings all seemed like new. I was comfortable and cozy the whole stay, pretty much parking it in front of the fire, on the couch or sitting at the kitchen island, reading. The kitchen was great for cooking. Appliances were clean and updated. The master bath shower was wonderful! Bedding, towels, linens were all high quality! Excellent location for getting to the Crystal Point trailhead. Quiet street with no neighbors behind you or on one side. Will have to go back in warmer weather to enjoy the deck.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful Christmas at this beautiful home In Mund's Park. With snow for the kids to play in, a fireplace to keep the adults warm, and great beds for everyone to take naps. Having previously rented many homes or condos, this is the top of the list. Everything we needed was supplied and then some. Thank you to the Rhodes family for letting us rent their beautiful home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Beautiful retreat. House was very clean and comfortable. Owner was very easy to work with accommodating to our needs. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Glad you enjoyed your stay. Hopefully my binder with local menus, sites to see, and things to do was helpful. A short ride away are the San Francisco peaks with beautiful hikes in the summer, skiing in the winter, and colorful leaves in the fall.

We stayed at this cabin over the fall break and had a wonderful time. The cabin has been beautifully remodeled and is exceptionally clean. The view from the front windows and balcony was awesome. We got to see some great sunsets. The kids had a great time driving their power wheels around the neighborhood and visiting the park down by the golf course. Munds park is very beautiful and peaceful place to stay. My husband also found lots of great trails to drive his ATV on. Doug was very helpful at answering questions. We will definitely be back. Thanks.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Glad you enjoyed your stay. Yes, there are many great ATV trails around Munds Park. If you have time, Grand Canyon Nat. Park is within driving distance as well as Canyon de Chelly, Petrified Forest, the Painted Desert, Montezuma Castle and Well, Meteor Crater and Sunset Crater. If you like wine, there are many wineries nearby in Cottonwood. Sedona and the Westfork of Oak Creek have some beautiful hikes too.

Why the Owner Chose Munds Park:

The Unique Benefits at this House:
If you like the seclusion that a home in the pines provide with the the nearby amenities to be found in Flagstaff, this will be your dream come true. Sedona red rocks and hikes, Verde Valley wine country, Flagstaff hikes and biking, Sunset Crater, Wupatki National Monument, Walnut Canyon National Monument, the Grand Canyon National Park, and Montezuma's Well and castle are all a short drive away.
