My husband and I spent 4 days here. The suite was private and had anything and everything you would need for a vacation away from home. It is actually a full complete suite above a garage. Very clean. The full kitchen was a definite asset. And the view from the living room window and balcony was excellent, just as described. The only downfall we encountered was the fact that the 2 block walk to the lake seemed further away than that, especially for us prairie people who are used to flat landscape, ha ha. There wasn't a beach, but the water was VERY high this year, in fact the firepits were under water. We still enjoyed driving to the private lakefront / boat launch and spending the day there. There was a very clean outhouse to use which was handy. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Owner response:It was a pleasure meeting you and having you as guests in my suite. I look forward to seeing you again and hopefully next time the lake won't be so high and the weather a little warmer! Please do come back to the Shuswap and enjoy our beautiful surroundings.

Our family of 4 stayed at Sharon's place. Very cozy and the cleanest place I have ever stayed in. We cooked most of our meals and everything and more was available to do that with. We most certainly enjoyed using the brand new BBQ on the deck as we enjoyed the beautiful view. We had 2 teenagers with us, so when they just felt like sitting around reading, us parents were able to walk down the hill for about 10min. to the water or restaurant. We headed to the beach a couple of times, once near Anglemont, the other at the provincial campground. We all really enjoyed the bumper boats and Mini Golf approx. 10 min. away at Scotch Creek. (If you go in the bumper boats, they have water squirters, so bring a change of clothes! We had a nice vacation, wished it was longer!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sharon's suite. I would recommend this location to anyone, probably the cleanest rental suite I have stayed at. The place is stocked beyond beleif with all required appliances, silverwear, ect. The suite has a fabulous view of the lake on a very quiet dead end street. The beach is within close walking distance. My wife and I had a very relaxing time, Sharon is there for whatever she can help with and yet makes you feel very welcome. Thanks Sharon!

This was the cleanest and most well equipped vacation rental we have ever seen. Everything was great from the abundance of towels to every small kitchen appliance you could want to the crystal stemware!!! Sharon was so helpful and yet not intrusive. We highly recommend this lovely little lakeside retreat.

Sharon keeps a very tidy and equipped place. Location is conveniently situated and very quiet. It's truly a Home away from Home! A great place to stay when you want to see the Adam's River Salmon run or just get away from the hustle and bustle of life.

The home page picture doesn't do it justice. You have a magnificent view of the lake from the suite's balcony. You get to enjoy your morning coffee in the sunshine and your dinner in the shade. Perfect! The suite is very comfortable and has all the amenities (dish washer is the only thing missing- I used my son!). We all had a great time and highly recommend this property.

We had a fabulous time at the Shuswap! It all started with Sharon's great cabin! It is perfectly laid out with plenty of room. Anything you may need is already there, but if it wasn't I'm sure Sharon would have it for you in a minute. She is wonderful! Thanks for everything. We'll be back soon! Chris, Lisa & the boys

My family and I have stayed here on many occassions over the years during all 4 seasons. In a word it is a FANTASTIC place to enjoy a break from the ordinary. The accomodations are impeccably clean, well appointed and extremely comfortable ( I slept like a babe ). The view of the lake is superb, local amenities are handy with grocery stores, restaurants, pubs, marina's and campgrounds all within short distance. The area is well known for its boating, fishing ( world renown Adams River Salmon Run close by - wow, what a spectacle to behold )and for land lovers, countless hiking, biking, ATV, snow sledding trails abound - awesome local mountains!!!! We continue to recommend this place to all our valued friends and family. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did!
