Arawak House is a two level Carribean style three bedroom house in a tropical setting, cooled by ocean breezes and fans (AC in the master bedroom) and situated in beautiful tropical gardens. Its spectacular panoramic view over-looking the ocean, beaches and coconut grove can be enjoyed from inside the house as well as from two spacious decks.
A short walk brings you to Smuggler's Cove, a quiet sandy beach ideal for swimming and snorkelling. Long Bay beach, suitable for body surfing is a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk away.Shopping, charter and day sailing, dive shop and ferry dock are at West End (Sopers Hole), a ten minute drive. The ferry dock is your gateway to explore neighbouring British or US Virgin Islands. An equally short drive brings you to many fine restaurants and interesting bars, several with live entertainment. A full kitchen gives you the option of eating at home as well. A local manager is available to offer assistance and information. A weekly cleaning is provided for multi-week rentals. Daily or more frequent maid service is available at additional cost. "Start up" provisioning is available at extra cost and paid for upon arrival. A car rental of a 4WD vehicle is also recommended and can be arranged.
The house may be rented as a single level (for one couple) or with both levels (allowing separate living for an extended family or three couples). When the single level is rented, the lower level is simply closed off and not used.
The upper level has a master bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite bathroom with tub and shower, full kitchen, dining room and living room. The lower level has two bedrooms (one with a queen size bed and two singles; one with a queen size bed and one single). A common area with a day bed and TV is a nice place to relax and features an additional fridge for drinks. There is also a bathroom with a shower on this level.

We stayed her for the second time this spring and loved it again. There is nothing fancy yet it has endless views, a great floorplan and charm to match. I am in real estate and keep finding things I liked about how it was designed and built. The deck about half shaded and half sun. The shaded half was the best office I can think of because I could take in the views and make calls over VOIP. The internet was good for work and a little netflix at night. Everything was clean and the manager was very helpful.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers.
