I stayed here with my daughter and her three children ages 1 1/2 , 4 1/2 and 7. My aunt also stayed with us a few nights. The apartment was beautiful and spacious, very tastefully furnished. We loved it. All of the amenities were available. The weather was great and the fans did the job of keeping the place cool. The other neighbors in the development were also very nice and friendly. Another plus was the short walk to the beach which with young children was great. There was a huge yard downstairs where the kids loved to play. The only drawback was the steps up to the condo. My youngest grandson at 1 1/2 could not really negotiate the stairs and had to be carried up and down. Otherwise, the place was fantastic and I would highly recommend it.

Perfect place for a 3-generation vacation at the beach!
Perfect place for a 3-generation vacation at the beach!
We are a couple with 2 kids under 10 and an elderly grandmom. We don't like the boardwalk/hustle bustle kind of scene found in many beach towns, and we like nature and quiet and peacefulness. We found it here. It was a mere 7 minutes from our door to the gentle waves (life-guarded beach!) The place was comfortably furnished and was the perfect space for us. Our ONLY issue was that we are used to the comfort of air conditioning. Fortunately, our week was quite mild, so it was not a problem except for in the late afternoon (and on the first day when we arrived - temps were close to 100 outside and it took a lot of fans on high to cool it down.) We probably paid a lower price for a place with no air conditioning - that was nice. Were it not for the heat in the late afternoon, I would have rated this place excellent. The grounds were clean and very well landscaped. The place was very clean and the photos reflected what we found when we got there. It was beautiful there! The outdoor shower was very much appreciated, as were the beach toys to borrow and the outdoor drying line. There were many amenities I didn't anticipate. We are bird-watchers and highly recommend the nearby Cape May Bird Observatory. There are MANY activities on a daily basis sponsored by them. Even if you're not into birds, taking a walk with the volunteers who lead walks close by, may open your eyes to the huge world of birds. Cape May is a premier birding spot. I will absolutely recommend this place to our birding friends (and if it's free in fall, we may be coming back!) The kids (girls, 7 and 9 years old) also highly recommend the place to families (as does my mother-in-law!) We were all very happy!

Manager response: We are so happy you all loved our little corner of paradise. So sorry about the heat wave. We love to hear the ocean and the birds so are not fond of AC, but we hope you return! - Beth

Year Purchased: 1989
About: One of the luckiest days of my life was finding this property at Cape May Point in 1989. I have been coming to the Jersey Shore since my childhood, but only discovered the jewel that is Cape May Point in my 30's. My most cherished memories are of bringing my parents, my sister and my nephew, Nick, to Parsons Folly-- from the time he was 2. I climbed the Cape May Point Lighthouse with Nick on my shoulders in 1989, and, and now at 25 years old, he still wants to visit me at Cape May Point and climb the Lighthouse!
Why Cape May Point:
I love jogging or biking into historic and beautiful Cape May for dining or shopping, but having my 'home' in the quiet and natural beauty of the Point, a migrating haven for birds, is a true gift. I love sharing this gift with others. I hope you will love Cape May Point as much as I do.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
My place at Parsons Folly is a little corner of Paradise....so close to the beautiful, natural, quiet beach near the tip of the Point. The sound and smell of the ocean, the birds, the ocean breezes, the views of the dunes and sunsets, bring me total joy and peace. Parsons Folly is in the beach block and also has gardens and a lawn for croquet, picnics or cookouts on site. My place is on the second floor and is a light-filled loft-like space with a cathedral ceiling and 3 bedrooms off the main living space. It is a wonderful place to share with family and friends.
