We really enjoyed our week at this property. Great location, well equipped kitchen, clean, great patio and the telescope was a nice feature: saw the moon as never before and four moons around Saturn. The owner was great to deal with all the way along...very accommodating. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We wanted to thank you and Dean for a wonderful stay! Your home was so very comfortable for all of us. Pretty much all the kids at one time or another said something like " I like this place, it has a rustic/cabiny/comfortable feel". I also heard "this kitchen is boss!". The kitchen was fabulous to cook in for the family, the deck tables and chairs worked perfectly for us, and the sounds of Christmas music Dean had playing when we arrived and of the crackling fire during our stay, provided just the atmosphere we were hoping for (as did the beautiful snowfall on Sat!). It all contributed to a very happy family get together. An extra special added bonus was the opportunity to appreciate your amazing artwork! Thank you so much! We would love to return sometime if the opportunity presents itself...Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Coho House offers all the possibilities to explore the area and relax at the house. Would be nice to have curtains in the bedrooms but did not bother us. We woke up early anyway. To see the entire area and all the possible falls, national parks, trails and cities will require at least 5 days. We did it in 3 days and truly enjoyed Coho House as a spot to relaxRecommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The place was just as described, comfortable, really well appointed, great kitchen and bar, wonderful art work (Zoe is a fabulous artist and her work decorates many of the walls..!) great views from the front porch and the back porch which backs up to the Coho Park a wonderful forest trail. The owners are very accommodating, knowledgeable about the area and fun to spend time with . Did not get a chance to enjoy a meal prepared by Dean but will make sure next time. Good place for getaway whether as a couple, family or friends. Highly Recommended!! Thanks Zoe and Dean!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We booked the Coho House for 3 days with our friends that have two small children and had a great time. The house is very cozy and clean, with beautiful living room area that is excellent for lounging. The kitchen is amazing. So is the wooden deck, where you can relax in the sun and enjoy the magnificent views. Zoe and Dean are great hosts. They made us feel truly welcome and went out of their way to help us with any questions or requests we had. They set up an extra room for the children and installed a small fence at the staircase for safety reasons. The location is also excellent, it's a very quiet neighborhood but also very close to the highway and the downtown Squamish area. Would love to go back to there again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here for an extended weekend in May 2012 and it was a total delight. Squamish is a beautiful location with lots to do. This house is lovely - and what makes it really special are the owners, ...and the kitchen, ... and the view. The owners are sweet, helpful, friendly and you can tell that they really care about their guests. We absolutely loved our stay.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Just one word describes, the views, the house, the hosts - fabulous!!!!! Have great memories of the house; loved every moment: and the cooking - so yummy. You have to go - I would absolutely recommend staying there. The pics of the house really do not do justice - loved the kitchen perfect fro entertaining or looking after guests.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks Cath, We're so glad you enjoyed your time at the House. We've done some upgrades including beautiful new carpets in both bedrooms. The lilac is in bloom at the moment and fills the 2nd room with it's scent. I wish it lasted longer! You are always welcome - please visit again and bring friends and family, Zoë

My partner, his mum and I stayed at Coho House in the Fall 2011. Our hosts Zoe and Dean went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! Beautifully cooked dinners, log burning fires, and fantastic company. The house is exceptionally decorated, with Zoe's paintings adorning the walls. Very clean tidy and well maintained. The views from the House take in the breathtaking Squamish Valley. Squamish offers world class outdoor activities, such as climbing, hiking, biking. It is the perfect location for those that want to explore the Sea to Sky corridor, 40 minutes to Whistler, 1 hour to Vancouver, with regular Greyhound services either way. I would highly recommend Coho House, Zoe and Dean made it a memorable experience for us as visitors from outside of Canada. I look forward to one day staying there again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you so much, Liz - it was a pleasure to have you all to stay! I'm glad you found the local transit and the Greyhound services so convenient. We now have even more shops at Garibaldi Village and a wonderful new Farmer's Market offering locally grown produce and specialty meats - just around the corner within walking distance. Come back and see us any time, you're very welcome, Zoë

Beautiful part of the world - amazing mountain views with the added bonus of sea views as you travel north from Vancouver along the Sea to Sky highway. Comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen. Lots of space to enjoy the two decks any time of day. Wonderful kind hosts who provide a family atmosphere. Enjoy the on-site chef's creations. I had such a pleasant time here, I will return. “Logs burning in the fireplace, delicious smells wafting from the kitchen, stunning views, good walks and golf nearby - and comfortable beds to sink into at the end of the day’s activities. This was our staging post on the way from Vancouver to the Rockies where we felt very private and self-contained. We had a wonderful stay and left with one of Zoe’s paintings to remind us of our visit”.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have stayed in this home several time in both summer and winter seasons. We have always had a great experience. It is comfortable and homely, and the owners are very hospitable and friendly. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, 2 minutes from main Vancouver-Whistler highway, and only about 30 minutes from Whistler. Beautiful scenery - lots of lakes and mountains to explore (personally been up the Chief twice). It is a "breath of fresh-air" for us 'flatlanders' from Texas. If you choose the catering option you will not be disappointedRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Breathtaking mountain views from all the windows and front and back decks, The rooms are large clean and spacious. The chef's kitchen is a joy to use with many personal enhancements created by your hosts. You become part of the family who are more than willing to help with your visit. The photos reflect the incredible memories created by your visit to an adventurer's wonderland. Central to Whistler and the incredible skiing to the north with Vancouver and all of its attractions on the coast. You must see Stanley Park, Gas town's arts and crafts shops, gourmet restaurants and countless other attractions. Bald eagles can be seen in the trees with other wildlife nearby. Biking and nature trails should be taken advantage of. We'll be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you Jim and Sharon, it was a pleasure to have you both as guests during the Vancouver Olympics! And we're happy you managed to see and enjoy so many different aspects of Sea to Sky Country. We're really looking forward to entertaining you again for Sharon's 60th birthday - bring the whole family and we'll make sure you have a spectacular dinner party in your 'Home away from Home'.
