  Just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful week in Disney. Your home was perfect for our needs~ even more. Your attention to detail from pricing, home & resort community amenitieswas appreciated. Our family was able to decompress after the hectic, long days at the park quite comfortably. The home was clean and well maintained. The pictures on the site are very accurate. I would highly recommend your home to all of our friends and family that plan on visiting Disney. The home location was also close to the resort pool, game room and playground that we walked there everyday. We were hesitant at first staying off Disney property, but after this trip, I do not see us returning to the Disney resorts. The drive to Disney parks was less than 10 minutes. Our only regret was not having more time in the home. Our kids gave it a thumbs up as well. They are our toughest critics!

  We rented both houses over New Year's week. We had multiple families with babies and teenagers. The houses were great for all our different needs. The location was perfect! People tend to claim that staying in a Disney resort is more convenient, but I think we got back and forth from the parks quicker (especially during the busiest time of the year) faster than the mass crowds staying on the grounds. I wish I had more time to enjoy the neighborhood as I did not even check out the club house...The owners are very responsive and everything was run very smoothly. I would and hope to stay again!

I know it took a lot of planning on your part to coordinate the 20 guests between our two homes. I'm glad you had such a great time! Before we purchased our second home we would have to rent another home in a different part of the resort whenever we traveled with our extended family. Having our two side-by-side homes is so much more convenient, and I'm happy we were able to share them with your family. Thank you for mentioning how quickly you were able to make it to Disney from our home. We are less than a 10 minute drive to the Disney Main gates (typically about a 6 minute drive). Depending on what Disney property someone might stay at, the Disney shuttles or train can sometimes take 30-60 minutes or more, because they have to stop at multiple resorts to let people on and off the bus or train. Disney states that the buses or trains run approximately every 20 minutes from the hotels to the parks, but that is dependent upon how busy a time it is, and sometimes the waiting time can be quite a bit longer. Not fun at all with young children. I really enjoy the flexibility that comes from having a car and making the short 10 minute drive to the Disney parking lot. We had a lot of fun helping you coordinate your trip, and I'm glad the entire family had a good time. Spending time in Florida is one of the best ways to celebrate the New Years holiday.   This location was extremely convenient for doing Disney World. The homes (we rented both of the side-by-side homes as there were 19 in our group) have bathrooms with each bedroom making it a great choice for larger groups. The game rooms set up in the garages were a favorite of the young children and even some of the older ones. The owners are very attentive to the detail of their units and followed up with us both before and during our visit. Any issues encountered during the stay were immediately addressed by the maintenance person who lives in the same community. Our family would highly recommend this owner's rentals based on our experience and the quality of the homes and amenities provided.

In addition, we have an air conditioning system in each game room which makes a huge difference in the warmer months.   We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Windsor Dream. The kids didn't want to leave and neither did the adults! The house is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. Having no rear neighbors was great. It is close to Disney (you could hear the fireworks at night!) and an easy drive to Sea World and Universal Studios. We enjoyed the pool a lot and got a chance to swim each evening after our busy days at the theme parks. The kids all loved having their own bedroom and bathroom! The games room was fun too. We enjoyed playing pool and Xbox. The wifi in the house worked very well. Bill and Donna were great hosts and answered our questions with ease. They had all the arrangements made so there was no hassle at the security gate and kept in touch with us while we were there. We would definitely recommend the house to anyone looking for a vacation home rental. Thanks Bill and Donna for sharing your house with us. Mark and Joanne C

  WINDSOR HILLS was recommended to us by a friend who has gone on many Disney vacations but now I have recommended to her to use Bill and Donna's properties. Before we even saw the house, Bill and Donna provided outstanding service!! All my questions were answered quickly and they made me feel like I was in good hands. Once we got to the house....well as great as the pictures are on line, you will be amazed by the actual house. I know my husband was, his jaw hit the floor and the kids couldn't stop saying Wow. We were 7, including 3 young kids. My daughter calls the the house 'the GOLD house' and all 3 did not want to leave. The pool was the perfect end to our every day at Disney. We loved the close proximity to the entrance and the quiet backyard. When we return we will be renting from Bill and Donna again and have, and will continue to recommend their properties to our friends. Bill, Donna, Thank you for helping make our 1st Disney trip so memorable.

  In the words of my 8 year old......"This villa isn't great......it's AMAZING!!!!!" What an amazing villa indeed!!! Thank you Bill and Donna for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home. It was everything we could have wished for and more. As a family of nine aged from 8 to 74, it had all the space and amenities that we required to make our holiday even more special. The villa was spotlessly clean, very well maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the villa with its lovely lounge, relaxing pool and games room as much as visiting the parks!!!! The fact that the villa sits in a gated residential area made us feel even more secure and the staff at the security entrance gate were most helpful and professional. The location of the villa within Windsor Hills itself is perfect with the lovely clubhouse and pool barely a 5 minute stroll away!!! What more can I say, this villa is beautiful, it certainly exceeded our expectations and your professional, personal service and attention to detail is second to none. Thank you both again for all the information and handy tips that you provided for us prior to our visit. I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking for a 5 star experience and when we return in a few years time, we will certainly be looking no further than Bill and Donna's villa!!!   We were expecting a very nice home....but it was well beyond our expectations!! It was a real pleasure to deal with Bill and Donna due to many facts: their warm and friendly manner, very fast response to all e-mails, all the information they provided, the outstanding resources, such as the professional video which allowed you to see exactly what the villa looked like (and it is exactly what you get - no tricks!!), all the tips...even what restaurants to visit, shortcuts & directions and even where to refill the gas tank....Fantastic! When we arrived the home was spotless and in perfect condition. We were amazed how all the details had been taken care of. It was really being at 'home'! We were also aware that we had Kevin as a backup resource in case we needed assistance from other guests' reviews. And it worked! We had a couple of minor things...and his response was impressive: very fast, friendly and solving the situation within seconds. We were desperate to make the most of the pool and sunshine as we were coming from a very rigourous winter in the southern hemisphere...but the weather was against us... we had quite a lot of rain. Bill and Donna are unable to help here...if it had been within their power, I'm sure they would have!!! But the pool area is absolutely fabulous. We had stayed at another villa at Windsor Hills nearly two years ago, and we had our neighbours right under our noses! The fact that there is no villa at the back allows you to enjoy the view of a wonderful garden which stretches out for about 250 mts in total privacy! And when the sun did peep out, one could see the benefits of a south-oriented pool! It does make the difference! We would definitively recommend Bill and Donna's place as it made a substantial difference to our holiday! Unfortunately our kids are quite old now and we feel this was our last visit to Disneyworld...will have to wait until we get grandchildren....Hope you are still around by then because we won't look around...you will be our first option!! We understand that guests want to relax, so we don't want you to waste time in traffic on your way to the parks, or to have to go out of your way to find a grocery store. For the benefit of our future guests who might be reading this, the coffee maker in our home was not working properly, so Kevin delivered a replacement coffee maker as soon as he received the call from Denise. That's the benefit of having a local caretaker who lives right in Windsor Hills. There is no need to call a large property management company and wait for the "next available representative". Because he lives right around the corner from our home, the needs of our guests can be attended to right away. I was happy to read your review of our pool area as compared to the home you stayed in on your last visit to Windsor Hills. There are only a small handful of homes that have both a south-facing pool, and no rear neighbors, and it really make a difference. The views from our pool area out into the quiet green meadow behind our home makes for a much more relaxing environment as compared to having neighbors staring at you from 10 feet away. Hopefully grandchildren will be on the way soon, as we would love the opportunity to host you and your family again.   My family and I had an incredible time at Bill and Donna's place. I have stayed in many vacation rental properties and have never met a host as informative, helpful or congenial as Bill. Right from my first correspondence with Bill it was clear that he would do everything in his power to ensure that we had a wonderful vacation (which he did). Having Kevin basically onsite was also a huge security blanket - we knew that if anything were to go wrong someone could be over promptly to assist. I only had limited dealings with Kevin - but they are illustrative of how helpful he was. When we arrived the key code didn't work - we called Kevin and in 15 seconds or so (less time than it would take to get to a hotel lobby) he remotely reset the code. The house was spotless when we arrived and proved to be perfect for our family (family of four plus my parents). We loved the pool (especially our kids - 5 and 8 - who lived in the pool whenever we were "home"). We loved the fact that the house was so close to the playground and club house. Having vacationed a fair amount in the Orlando area we knew that Windsor Hills offers the best amenities, security and location of the many gated vacation community areas. The house itself had plenty of space and activities, extra bedrooms for forts :), tons of TVs, dvds, video games, books etc. but the weather cooperated too much to allow us to fully appreciate them. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a clean, well maintained, worryfree property. Now if only Bill could do something about the paucity of edible restaurant food in the Orlando area.... But I guess that's why vacationers need a fully stocked kitchen.

Because he lives right around the corner from our home his response time is excellent. There are so many management companies that try to handle hundreds of homes, and it is so difficult to get in touch with them when needed, we wanted to make sure we hired someone for our guests who could be readily available when needed. I'm glad your children got a lot of use out of the playground. The proximity of our home to the playground was a big selling point for us when we purchased our home. We have 5 children, and knowing we were right across the street from the "Castle Playground" was something we really liked about this location. Of course, similar to your children, whenever we are at the home our kids spend the bulk of their time in our private pool. My wife and I enjoy the pool as well, because we have no rear neighbors. Before we purchased our home in Windsor Hills we rented some homes, and they each had a whole row of neighbors behind those homes, and the pools back right up to each other (only separated by about 10 feet). On each of those vacations we quickly grew tired of watching (and being watched by) all of the families in the homes behind us. We really enjoy spending time as a family in the privacy of our pool area. As far as the dining choices in Orlando, I had to laugh at your comment about the "paucity of edible restaurant food". I know what you mean! There are a ton of restaurants to choose from, but most of them do focus on some variety of "fast food". There are definitely some five star restaurants within a short drive of our home, so please remind me ahead of your next trip and I will be happy to point you in the right direction. Fortunately, for those guests who like the consistency of a good home-cooked meal, our kitchen offers all of the comforts of home. The other benefit of eating-in a few nights per week is the cost savings, which can be substantial.   We found this villa to be the best we have rented in Orlando for several reasons. The location is superb being only 10 minutes drive to Disney parks and only 20 mins to Universal and Mall at Millenia ( a definite must for all shoppers!) The villa itself was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we wanted during our 3 week stay. We appreciated the change of bed linen provided for each bed. Any minor problems were quickly sorted out by Kevin who was always there if needed. The pool area was large enough to sit out to eat, sunbathe during the day, or let our 2 year old grandson play behind the safety fence.The games room was ideal for older grandchildren and adults to spend some time out of the sun or compete against each other in nightly pool tournaments! The communal pool area is a definite bonus as it is only a short stroll from the villa and the shop there has most items you need in a hurry such as bread, milk, etc. It is also pleasant to sit in the foyer here and enjoy a beer or coffee and watch the world go by. Windsor Hills is a proper gated community which makes residents feel very safe day and night.The staff at the gate were most friendly and helpful. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future as everyone felt they had their own space but also plenty room to be altogether. We look forward to returning in the future. When we take the "short-cut" we can make it to the Animal Kingdom in just about 6 minutes. Thanks for mentioning the Mall at Millenia. I am amazed at how many high-end shops they can fit in one location, from Coach to Cartier, Jimmy Choo to Rolex, and Brooks Brothers to Louis Vuitton. I'm glad you enjoyed our pool area as well. Because we don't have any rear neighbors, I find that most guests get more "use" out of our pool area, because the privacy allows the entire family to relax a bit more. I am taking your suggestion and I plan to add some snooker balls to our game room as well, so we can now offer that great British pastime to future travelers.   We stayed at this villa after reading the reviews and we did not regret our decision. The owners Bill and Donna were so easy to work with throughout the whole process. We had one problem during our stay caused by the weather, we called Kevin, the property manager, and he was at the villa within 10 minutes to fix the problem. The home was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed for the week. We felt truly comfortable in our home away from home. It was so nice to come "home" after a long day at the parks. We had two families (a total of 9 of us), and had more than enough space for all of us. The kids had as much fun at the villa as we did, if they weren't swimming, they were watching movies or playing video games. Everything was in close proximity, we went to Universal Studios, SeaWorld and Disney. We never had to travel more than 20 minutes to get anywhere, including traffic. We arrived earlier than expected and were unable to check-in due to the villa being cleaned, but we were able to get into the Windsor Hills Resort and spend time at the resort swimming pool while we waited. We truly had a great experience and felt very safe in the community. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Unlike large, nameless/faceless management companies, where it can take days to get a response to an inquiry, Kevin lives in Windsor Hills, literally right around the corner from our home, so his response time is excellent. I was so happy to hear of his quick 10 minute response time. That's amazing. I'm happy the children enjoyed the video games and movies in our game room, as I know you had some rain during your stay, so it's great that the kids were able to remain entertained in the home. Finally, thank you for mentioning that you felt "safe" in the community. Many resorts near Disney market themselves as "gated communities", but most of those neighborhoods do not have gates that are actually staffed by security personnel. In many neighborhoods, everyone is given a simple code to the gate, and over time, after multiple guests, contractors, repairmen, and pizza delivery vehicles have visited the neighborhood, it seems like "everyone" in town knows the code. This is NOT the case with Windsor Hills. There are security personnel that staff the entrance gate 24 hours per day, and they do a fantastic job making sure that only registered guests are allowed access to the resort. We have always felt very safe in Windsor Hills, and that is why we purchased our vacation home in this beautiful neighborhood.   If you want a villa with lovely hosts and lovely owners this is the one to go for. Everything is within driving distance less 10 minutes to the Disney parks and about 20 minutes to universal not even that. I would defiantly come back again and hopefully stay in this villa again. Best holiday me and my family have had. The description of the place was as described and the location was brilliant. Everything you wanted or needed was on the doorstep. The property was very well maintained and very clean. The service we received was absolutely brilliant not just from the owners but also the people in the grounds. I would recommend this property to friends and family defiantly. The best part of this place was the south facing pool. If you just wanted a lazy day, sitting by the pool is the answer. It's not noisy at all and is very quiet during the day and night time. We did most of the parks while we were out there and I would recommend to any of you to go to Busch gardens, discovery cove and seaworld. I have a 7 year old and he enjoyed them parks the most especially discovery cove swimming with the dolphins. All my family which was 10 of us loved it out here and we all did our own things but did a few of the parks together which was fun. While we were here we tried a few restuarants but the one that had a lot of different variety of things was the Cracker Barrel, also the ponderosa was nice we went there a few times.

Your family was great and we hope you had a safe trip back to England. We were happy to see you describe our home as “very clean”. Our cleaning staff does a wonderful job, and we will make sure to pass along your compliment. We’re glad you got a chance to spend a “lazy day” in our pool. Because we don’t have any rear neighbors, our location is one of the most private and quiet areas within the resort. The community pool and waterslide is awesome - but it can also get noisy at times. When we stay in our home we look forward to our private pool so we can relax as a family. It sounds like your 7 year old had a great time swimming with the dolphins, and I think that’s a great experience to recommend for other travelers.   We loved this house! The layout is superb--great places for the entire family to gather in the family room or in the garage turned tv/game room or lots of room for teens to head to their own bedroom and tv. Our favorite part--the fantastic pool! The sun shines on the water from early morning until almost sundown. It is very easy to get to the parks from the house. It is nice to be in a gated community--the neighborhood has a very safe feeling to it. Target and Publix grocery store are close by. The owner is very easy to work with and provides prompt, excellent replies to questions.

I hope your teens had a chance to use the X-Box 360 and Playstation gaming systems in the home. When we stay in the home with our teens it's nice to know there are areas of the home "just for them" which makes it easier for the adults to relax. I'm glad you felt safe in the neighborhood. The gated-community feature of Windsor Hills was one of the main reasons we decided to purchase our home there. Many developments in the Orlando area market themselves as "gated", but sometimes it is literally just a gate that owners are given an access code to, but without any live monitoring. At Windsor Hills, there are security personnel at the gate 24 hours a day. Their primary function is to assist all guests when they arrive, regardless of what time of day or night, but their secondary function is to make sure that only registered guests are allowed access to the resort. They are a great group of employees, always very helpful, and they do a fantastic job. Thanks again for taking the time to write your review.   We were fortunate enough to rent this home over Christmas 2011 and enjoyed an amazing family holiday there. It felt like home from the moment we walked in, and our children and partners immediately relaxed there, as there was so much fun to be had in the pool and games room for our grandchildren. The location was amazing, just a few miles from all the major parks, and the estate was beautifully kept and very secure. The villa was very well appointed with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay and the pool was FAB. We would all love to come back!

  This home exudes style and comfort from the moment you walk in the door. The decor is neutral, yet stylish and the themed rooms are tastefully decorated without being "faddish". We found the bedrooms to be quite spacious and comfortable and we also loved that each one had its own flatscreen TV. One great feature was that the main floor windows facing the pool area are sliders and can open completely. This allows guests easy access between the pool and kitchen/dining area. We hosted a party and found that when the sliders were opened it seemed to double the living space. Along with several adults, our group included a 7 month old baby and we found that all of the amenities (i.e., pack and play, high chair, etc) were in new condition and very clean. The community pool and other resort amenities are within walking distance and are beautiful!! We found it was a perfect distance from the house as we could walk if wanted to go, but it was also not so close that there was too much traffic from the guests accessing the facilities. We would like to extend a special thank you to "Kevin" from the property management company. Every time we had a question or concern he responded quickly and professionally. He went out of his way to ensure that every issue was taken care of to our satisfaction and never once did we feel that we were "bothering" him. Great customer service skills!!! Overall, our stay at this villa was exceptional and there was no detail overlooked. I would HIGHLY recommend it to any family or group who is looking for a safe, comfortable and spotlessly clean home in which to enjoy their vacation.

Having young children ourselves, our most important criteria when we are traveling is the cleanliness of our accommodations. I'm delighted to hear that you found our home "spotlessly clean". Thank you for pointing out the benefit of our sliding glass doors and the pool area. Our pool area is the best feature of our home. So many homes in Windsor Hills back up to another property, or they face north, east, or west. Our home is one of the few that is truly south-facing, so we get the most sun each day, and we have no rear neighbors. The pool and spa area is nice and private whether you are a group of 12 or a party of 2. I'm also happy to hear you describe the short walking distance to the community amenities (pool, water slide, movie theater, gaming arcade, fitness center, etc). Some homes in Windsor Hills are a good 15 minute walk away from the amenities . Our home is about 2 minutes away, so we are very comfortable letting our older children walk that distance, given the close proximity and the safety of our gated community. It's nice to know our older children can enjoy the amenities without us having to drive them there! Thank you for letting me know about your interaction with Kevin, our local property manager. This home represents a large investment for our family, and we chose Kevin to be our "face in Florida" because he lives right in Windsor Hills as a full-time resident, and he has an excellent reputation for taking care of our guests. Kevin literally lives right around the corner from our home, so he is always available to assist with any needs our guests may have - no matter how big or small.
