This Gulf View home, "Sea Cottage," is a true "traditonal" Florida beach house. "Sea Cottage" features three bedrooms and two full baths accommodating up to eight people in comfort. Just completed in June of 2008 is a PRIVATE POOL and deck area. New for 2009 is a pool heater for those cool fall and spring evenings. "Sea Cottage" is located two blocks south of trendy 30-A. Betty Street, a quiet, no outlet street is where "Sea Cottage" is located. Betty Street is very quiet and peacefull, just off Gulf View Heights Street. Beach access is just a short four minute stroll (one minute by bike) down Betty to the Gulf View Heights Beach access. By crossing the dune on the wooden crossover you'll be in full enjoyment of the beautiful clear, emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the sugar white sand beach! At this ideal location there is very little traffic and no busy roads to cross!
As you can see from the photos, "Sea Cottage" is built on pilings providing a view of the Gulf from the deck, living room, dining room and kitchen! Beneth the house is a shady concrete parking area for two cars. "Sea Cottage" is decorated in a simple beach fashion, yet very functional. You and your family have everything you need for a great relaxing vacation! The kitchen is equipped with a full size stove, refrigerator with automatic ice maker, dishwasher, microwave and all the other kitchen equipment you may need. We have a gas grill for outdoor cooking, two glass top patio sets, and lounge chairs for relaxing by the pool! The master bedroom has a queen bed with private bath. The other bedrooms both have two twin beds and one sofa is a sleeper for two more. A second bath is off the hall, close by the other bedrooms. All linens and towels are included.
ENTERTAINMENT: "Sea Cottage" has two TV's, DVD player, stereo, local & USA long distance phone, high speed wireless DSL internet, Direct TV, some movies and books as well as a closet full of games, beach toys, beach chairs and beach umbrella! Bring the bikes or rent them for the expansive paved bike/running trail just two blocks away tracing 30-A for over 20 miles of great exploring and sightseeing! Several shops and restaurants are within walking distance -- don't forget the great seafood market at Goatfeather's restaurant -- they'll even steam your shrimp while you wait!

Myself and various family members have stayed at Sea Cottage many times over the past several years, and we are planning a return visit again this fall. The grandkids love the beach (just down the block), and also the great pool area at the cottage. We love the palm trees around the pool, especially in the evening with the pool lighting. Sea Cottage is a simple, beachy home with a casual feel, a great location to the beach and bike trails, and a great value, especially in the spring and fall, which are our favorite times of year to visit. If any problems arise, the owner is quick to reply and take care of it. He wants everyone to feel at home and relaxed at Sea Cottage.
Recommended for:Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family and I loved staying at this place. It has everything our family of four could possibly need. We spent a great deal of time in the pool especially at night, when my boys enjoyed the colored pool lights. We used the bike path on 30-A heavily. I highly recommend a ride east to Grayton Beach State park. It's a very nice place with walking paths through sand dunes and plenty of nature. We mostly ate in w/ groceries from Publix. We had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen to whip up meals. But "The Donut Hole" for breakfast is a must. Terrific pancakes! All in all I would highly recommend this place. So close to the beautiful beach and has everything you could need and more.

This was our first trip to Florida, and I will be back every summer!!! This was an excellent location, beautiful pool (the kids had a blast), and so close to everything. We had a wonderful time, renting this home will make for a wonderful relaxing vacation! See ya next year, Rhonda

This place is a dump. You may think it's a "good deal" - $500 less than other comparables - there's a reason. Unless you're hillbillies that are new to indoor plumbing you will be disapointed. Why is there only 1 indoor photo? Because it's dirty, musty, outdated and buliding materials all over the place. Oh, and there is a chance something will be turned off due to non-payment. For us it was just the cable, hopefully it won't be the electricity during your time.

ALWAYS HAVE A GREAT TIME AT THIS HOUSE. CLOSE TO BEACH POOL IS A DEFINTE PLUS. THIS YEAR DEEP SEA FISHING WAS GREAT. RED SNAPPER WERE EXCEPTIONALY LARGE THIS YEAR. ALWAYS HAVE FUN RENTING THIS HOUSE AND ALWAYS HATE TO LEAVE. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED IF YOU RENT THIS HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
